Feels like last year's Hyperspace just released. They're really pumping and flooding Star Wars everything aren't they?

Regardless:

Okay, here's a hot take ...

Instead of dropping 5 Star War products a year,
I would prefer 1 Star Wars product with enough print run that everyone can find (and afford) a box for multiple months. This might even lead to collectors finishing sets, trading, and reading the cards (instead of just hunting hits).

Does anyone remember Topps Total? It was a sports set with deep cuts and a huge checklist. Bring me STAR WARS TOTAL.

10x!!!!

The amount of products getting released and competing with each really makes you think how much longer can this sustain itself.
(star wars, disney, marvel, etc.)

Wouldn't want to own a LCS at the mercy of Fanatics right now
shoving all this stuff down their throats.

Buy or miss out on the next release.

Really wish we could get a Fanatics Star Wars product with on card autos.

Not only was last year's Hyperspace product trash, it was also greasy too.

Pass on the 2025 version.

I was very much let down by last years release so part of me thinks they might do the classic topps zag and juice this one as there is very little hype for it i would imagine...or it could be just as bad as last years sku lol

Never considered buying this. But they actually lowered the print run and much better odds compared to 2024

It was quite terrible, while they seemed to juice this one up a bit its still a pass from me

We all thought we were getting a cosmic type release but it absolutely sucked

Smaller printing, copy states 3 sketches, 2 autos and 2 other case hits in 8 box case. Cheaper than the onsale last year by $30. Features lots of my favorite Rebels characters. Don't feel bad about grabbing a couple but bummed it arrives after Xmas.

LOL you ain't lying.

I even bought a second box off a 582 member months later for like $100 shipped (to open with my kid) and it only reminded me how trash it was.

At least my kid loved her Chewbecca base card though.

I thought about trying for a box, but forgot about the drop, and honestly I'm not too upset about it. I'm not the biggest fan of the theme, but the cards do look better this time.

I agree with the others opinion that last years was absolutely one of the worst ever Topps Star Wars releases. The cards do look much more appealing this time and better odds so went for 3 boxes. Had no issues purchasing so probably not much demand for it LOL. They could have made this a monster success if it was like Cosmic honestly...makes you really wonder how clueless Topps/Fanatics is at knowing what collectors and customers want.

I didn't partake in the last Hyperspace either, even when the boxes could be snagged for just over $100 in auction. This release is just obviously so much more appealing. Same amount of hits per case, but down to 8 boxes from 12, design and inserts much improved, visually.

Sold out in what, 60 seconds? They know what they're doing.

An unknown possibly small percentage of the overall print run sold out in 60 seconds. They know what they're doing recreating FOMO on a product that did poorly last year.

Bolded the important part. Collecting has become predictable and they're cashing in with every release because too many people can't help themselves. Whether it's FOMO or whatever, their formula is working.

And you say last year's product "did poorly". Topps sold out, and how many who got burned lined up again for this year? Regardless of how this one plays out, you can bet they're already planning to do it again next year.
