MSRP is great but I’m not paying $700 for a box of Topps Chrome jumbo. You can quote me when these are $5k/box down the line but no chance am I paying that.

Problem is there are 30 people here saying they wont pay it, but there are 3,000 people new to the hobby that just think this is the normal price to play and will eat it all up.

My edit, from earlier on, below. If you're breakin' this...."for fun", lemme' know how ya' feel when something like this comes to fruition:
EDIT: I just can't easily get behind buying a $700 jumbo,...getting a (example) Ginobli #/499 ,....a Lu Dort #/199,...Ron Holland #/50 ,...and a Spud Webb Legends auto as my "hits", and walking away,..."contented"!? Gettin' crazy out here, fellas! Gettin',...CRAZY!! [INSERT, UNIVERSAL GAME SHOW BUZZER, HERE] EDIT TO MY EDIT: Lest we forget; every 2nd or 3rd box or so; a base Coop that'll start @ $100 and be down to $30 by the second week of release or so. |
