That would be awesome!

I will add that a Cricut machine is awesome for these labels. My wife can throw a lot of labels on one piece of card stock and the Cricut can cut them out perfectly. It was the best gift I ever got my wife. For her and for me.

No problem!

Here is my photoshop PSD file with two different designs all on separated layers with editable text. This is a dropbox link to preserve the file quality and layers.

1. Just click the template file from the link below to DOWNLOAD it.

DROPBOX DOWNLOAD LINK:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rsnmk...=wclsb5sr&dl=0

Click the small DOWNLOAD icon at the top of the menu bar. You don't need a free Dropbox account to download it.:

This native Photoshop PSD file contains two design templates you can customize:

DESIGN 1 (Simple Red Border PSA Style):

DESIGN 2 (My Custom Retro Style Design I created):

These are just sample images above to show the Photoshop PSD file. Don't download these samples, download the native PSD file from the dropbox link.

RED BORDER: All elements are on separate layers. If anyone doesn't like the PSA style red border color, just change the color overlay on the border layer to anything you'd like.

SWOOSH COLORS: If you want to change any of the three retro "swoosh" colors from the design, they are all on separate layers, and you can just change the color overlay on the layer. Looks great to match with team colors.

FONTS: These designs use the following fonts:

Arial: (For the Red Border PSA Style Label)
https://font.download/font/arial

(For my retro custom designed label)
Neon Goodshine:
https://www.1001fonts.com/neon-goodshine-font.html

Dinot Condensed Bold:
http://fonts3.com/fonts/d/DINOT-CondBold.html

Dinot Condensed Black:
http://fonts3.com/fonts/d/DINOT-CondBlack.html

2. When done designing, just use "Export As..." in Photoshop as a JPG to export your design to a maximum resolution JPG file

Then pop your JPGs into an 18up template to print.

When I print my labels, I maximize space by printing them on a standard Letter size piece of paper, 18up. Here is the Photoshop PSD for the layout of how I print my sheets to get as many labels on one sheet of paper:

DROPBOX DOWNLOAD LINK:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/grl4i...=iauqbukz&dl=0

2. Just click the 18up template file from the link above, click the small DOWNLOAD icon at the tope of the menu bar.
(You don't need a free Dropbox account to download it.)

The 18up sheet looks like this:

This is just an 18up sample image above to show the Photoshop PSD file. Don't download this, download the native PSD file from the dropbox link above.

3. Cutting. For cutting, I don't use anything fancy, just a sharp blade (X-acto knife, Box cutter, etc.) and a straight edge. Cut along the crop marks, and it swillhould fit the MagPro label area perfectly.

For the back, I just use the included black MagPro logo flip, since I personally don't really car about the back, but you could always just print two labels for each card and include the front/back.

4. Printing. For printing, I just print at home on a color inkjet printed using glossy photo paper.

END RESULT:

Here's the Jim Otto autographed card I popped into the MagPro slab and called it a day. I won this card for $7.50 off eBay, and it makes absolutely no sense to spend $35+ for PSA/DNA grading on this card (in my opinion).

And with custom design labels (that you can change at any time) it looks clean and consistent for those OCD cravings.

That should hopefully do it with the file Photoshop template I created for the MagPro labels.

Hope this helps anyone create their own customized labels. Cheers.

absolutely awesome!!!

however in Krita im having an issue (which seems to be a longstanding one in Krita) that I can't edit the prefilled text in the layers. it only lets me edit the layer name, there is nowhere to bring up a text edit window.

unless im not doing it right, im not exactly photoshop/krita savvy. are these vector layers? that may be the issue. I won't be able to edit the text if they aren't.

I'm not familiar with Krita, but I just googled it and it doesn't support editable photoshop text layers. So sadly, you won't be able to edit my text layers with Krita.
Or I'm guessing you could just re-create a new text layer and type away and size it to match with the fonts I linked to.

I really only use Photoshop, but you may want to try a free trial of Affinity Photo 2 and see if that works better for you, since Affinity makes great Adobe replacement products.

Good stuff. I picked up some of these cases at a show some time ago, and I've been putting some of my sketches in them with custom labels. It helps to keep track of lesser known artists when their signatures aren't legible. After seeing your examples though, I need to remake mine with your font recommendations.

Here's one I made:

Had to add the Skipper!

These cases are fun, and save a bunch in grading fees for cards not necessarily financially worth grading or even able to be slabbed since they're custom cards.

These labels are amazing and look so much better than graded slabs!

Thanks. I want to try some for baseball that have a more vintage feel like yours. Those you’ve shown look amazing.

Added another custom MagPro card to my Oakland A's collection. Had Carney Lansford sign this custom card at a show on Saturday:

Really no need to grade these things, as they are customs (and PSA will no longer grade them) and to me personally, they look even better in the MagPro cases than in PSA slabs.

Here's my "COA" aka proof that he actually signed it, that is better than a grade:

And here's the current "set". With Carney, that is most of the key players I wanted from the Oakland A's teams I watched growing up:

Pretty happy with these cases, as they make up a really nice alternative to grading, but they fit in nicely with other graded "sets" and cards.

These look amazing. Do you still happen to have the template for the simple red PSA border labels? Would love to give these a shot!

It's a native photoshop file.
Layer one has the red PSA style design and layer two has the retro design.

You'll want to open this in photoshop, or another graphics program that accepts photoshop layers. Hope this helps!
