Were it not for the fact that I intend on selling a kidney (or two) for tomorrow's NBA Chrome presale, I'd have almost certainly went for two cases, here! Then again; I'm being ASSumptious....that I'll even be able to get any case(s), tomorrow.

They're probably buttering us up today by playing all nice (thanks again, Topps!) so they can drop the hammer on Chrome pricing tomorrow.

Honestly, at what point do you think Chrome BKB would sit on the site for at least a day? $500/$1000?

This price gives us space for discounts later on - it would be fantastic if breakers will try to dump this for $70 a box just to get rid of it.

I dont think they are making retail of this. This likely means Hobby PR is way up, and thus the reason for the lowered cost. The lack of odds sorta confirm this. Topps likes to play games by not releasing these early on.

Decent price, but realistically, still inflated. Considered grabbing it and passed. Can snag a box of 2024 with a shot at Skenes, Yamamoto, and Chourio autos for $140. For ~$100 after tax, probably about right considering Kurtz is your only main draw.

LOL, we’ve been fleeced for so long that we think normal to slightly inflated prices are a “steal”.

Haha, I actually thought the same (acceptance of inflated price, not the idea of snagging a 2024 box for $140 + tax).

After picking up 2 cases of 2022 HHN for $500 per last November ($41.67 per box with the best rookie of the 3 classes [2022, 2024, 2025]), hard to pay $90-$140 per pre-tax for a 2024-2025 HHN box.

HHN have always been pretty boring rips too.

Not saying one can't make some money flipping their boxes though, just a lot more work/energy than other products.

I snagged a case of that 2022 HHH a couple years haxk for $500 and it felt like a xhore to open. And I hit a Julio auto redemption!

Love Heritage High but passed on these. Don’t see the huge draw to this years, they’ll be $600 in a couple years.

I’d like to remind everybody that the best rookie from this year is a dh/1b. Long term, he won’t hold value. See for example: Pete Alonso. Other rookies like Mayer, Smith and Campbell will need to step up for the value of these to be remotely close to $90 in 2 years.
