I know they had something at one point in Florida and New Jersey. But mine always go to Santa Ana California

I was wondering about that too. I’ve heard of cards going to NJ but every card I’ve ordered has always gone to CA

Had two cards arrive to PSA at the same time last Thursday.

One was shipped out yesterday (5 business days) and the other today (6 business days).

It used to be same day turnaround before this delay.

I'm on 20 days of the card I sold sitting with authentication. $800 on hold. Buyer has expectedly opened a case and wanting a refund. At this point I assume it's been lost and ebay will compensate.

Frustrating process - theoretically it should take about 1 minute per card.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I’ve been seeing a lot on instagram of cards getting lost or stolen at the post office at the authentication center

Which location?

That aside, I'd note that one of the huge flaws with the authentication program is that it makes it easy for a potential thief to identify high value cards, since by definition just about everything coming in/out of the authentication center is worth $250+.

Everything is slow right now....COMC shipping times are much longer than they were a couple of months ago as well.

The California location. That’s the main issue people were talking about. The label makes it easy to spot when a $250 plus card is in a package

I had a card delivered Nov 1 and ‘checked into’ the hub on Nov 4. Still sitting there and not authenticated. This is a vault order too so my funds are frozen.

Anyone in the same boat? I had 6 cards delivered to authentication on Nov 8 and those are already done and sent out to buyers.

My most recent card arrived at the Hub Friday afternoon, was authenticated first thing Monday morning, shipped out Monday afternoon, and is scheduled to arrive today.

Well - 1 month after my card was delivered to authentication, they refunded the buyer and took the money from me. So quite literally I did my part here, even received positive feedback from the buyer who admitted as such...now I have no card and no money. Even owe eBay money here since they claw back the taxes, etc from the available funds.

Obviously I will be appealing.

Great to see that

Now they just need to open a hub in Kansas City or Indianapolis or something like that

Because you have to love buying something from Charlotte NC and it has to go to California first

Authentication has been quick.

Any authentication --> grading has not, and it's been horrible to track, as PSA is NOT updating tracking numbers once grading has finalized on your eBay summary. If you do this a lot, and say you have 10-12-15 outstanding at any given time, good luck keeping up because PSA is not helping you.

Id like to know too. Kinda stupid on ebays part to even side with the buyer when clearly their authentication process is the culprit. Doing sellers dirty. Ebay is worse if not just as bad as PSA when doing the right thing comes to play.

Did you call eBay authentication, specifically the authentication team, not normal brain dead eBay rep, and explain the situation while the claim was opened?

Always do this to get ahead of the issue. Often they will resolve the case immediately in your favor. Never rely on their automatic process to "hopefully" go your way. It rarely does.

I had the same thing happen.

Sold a Flagg Auto PSA 10. Buyer contacted 30 minutes before auction closes asking me to cancel. I said no, your dstroying auction integrity and you abide by your contract aka bid. He said he won't pay. I say you'll get a claim. Auction ends. Lucky for me, buyer has "auto pay in 1 hour after auction ending with a credit card on file." eBay auto pays for the buyer. I get my money. Buyer requests a cancel, I of course decline. I print label, ship to ebay auth. A week or so later, I get a claim filed, stating buyer contacted their "institution" and is disputing the transaction. eBay asks me to provide evidence for my case. I call them and am like, what evidence, it's pretty freaking clear. I shipped the card to you, eBay, you authenticated it and shipped to the buyer, the evidence you are asking for is the evidence you have in your possession idiots. They are like "well it's jsut a formality submit this and it will go in your favor - tracking infor etc." I'm like, I'll do this on the phone and you close it out. I did, they did, I kept funds, the buyer can go pound sand for being a cold feet deuche.
