First Buzz: 2025-26 Topps NBA basketball cards

LOL those advent calendars are huge. Don’t know why Topps just doesn’t do those and the complete sets they’d have all shelf space.

Really though, passed on them but grabbed Holiday Mega.

Currently Wander Franco RCs....wait wrong thread.

Ended up ordering 2 more boxes. Just opened them. I'd say A++ on the fanatic blasters. They've been good to me at least. Been ordering them in batches of 2 on different days to avoid getting boxes from the same case. Golden mirror, relic, gold base, and flaggs all from 1 blaster.

Good luck. I think I've been getting lucky ordering a few at a time. Got 2 orders of 2 coming in tomorrow also.

Fanatics blasters are definitely best bang for the buck. I think hobby is a distant second.

How do you get a case of the Fanatics blasters? Through a Fanatics rep?

B. It was cheap
C. A Dame Bucks card will be fun to have in 10 years.

I have a monster PC Card coming soon..

This topps release got me in the nostalgia feels. So glad they’re in charge again.

OG Anunoby is the best card in this set.

Freshman Fabrics has a cool look.

Some of the SSPs aren't as SP as others but get more run ($$$). Probably common as folks chase the look of certain subsets.

They overproduced this to oblivion. Still, the SPs and SSPs are awesome.

The wife and I got bored this weekend and decided to hit the LCS, walked out with a hobby box

She hit this on the first pack



Absolutely nothing else of note in the box though, not even a serial # lol

Doing 4 fanatic blasters will post results box by box.

Blaster 1. Solid. 2 # and a relic

2 box. Got an auto redemption but of the wrong guys.


Blaster 3. Very good also.


Blaster 4
Nothing worth noting. Pink speckle. No flaggs.

Topps basketball Singles prices are also dropping across the board every week. Just imagine how much prices will drop after 20+ basketball products have come out and he has hundreds of parallels /10.

You will see, basketball simply doesn’t have the same following as baseball. Folks will learn that quickly.

A topps Flagg black /10 went for $10,100 a week after release, then a week later had dropped to $4000.

/250 = 1
/50 = 1
Pinks = 5
Relics = 2
Autos = 0
Team border = 1

2 big hits:
Hardwood Stars = Curry
1/1 = Tre Murphy III

Really fun to break. The set is nostalgic for me. I like the photography and the unique parallels. Great first foray back into the basketball market, imo

It may or may not be price manipulation. I hit a wemby number variation, it was supposed to be a 1/1 per everything topps has said, so I listed as such. Guy offered $7500 so I took it. then the buyer messaged me saying he saw another card, so it wasn't a 1/1 and he asked to cancel the transaction. He messaged me some proof, so I cancelled. But if you look at sales, it looks like it was sold for best offer of $7500. I relisted, explaining in description, but it still looks like a sale, even though it was cancelled. annoyed that topps never officially clarified this confusion, since it was a big selling point.
