There are articles about the Yankees signing and trading for everyone good out there. It happens every year. It's like they forget Hal is the owner.

Maybe he goes to Queens to play 2nd. There's only 2 teams that operate as if they have no budget, the Dodgers and the Mets. Hal on the other hand wants a shiny new boat each year.

All it would take is Spencer Jones, Jasson, Lombardi, Shlit, and Judge.

I don't see why. Hal would never pay Skeenes what he is going to get.

Well in the end the writers got it right but enough of them got it wrong enough to not be allowed to vote next time.

Yep if they didn’t want to spend on Soto last year they will be even cheaper this year.

No way Schlittler should be involved in any deal.

And at the end of the day they will pick up a cheap utility guy.

Didn't they offer Soto the same or more than the Mets?

Not only that, but I'm sure he doesn't want to make the Pirate fans and management mad. I have no doubt that he may in fact want to play for the Yankees. I just think he never wanted that out in public and is saving face.

Or they will re-sign Belli and say they have no money for anything else.

They still need to trade or sign some kind of serviceable pitcher for the beginning of the year because as I see it, they only have Fried, Gil, Warren, and Schlittler until possibly the All Star Game. If the offense isn't scoring 10 runs a game, the Yankees are going to be out of the race pretty quickly with that rotation.

Nah 5 million less and the infamous they wouldn’t give him a suite. I really think they breathed a sigh of relief that the Mets got him.

Definitely have to keep Bellinger in the mix as he proved he was a good addition last year. I wouldn’t mind finally seeing what Dominguez can do as an everyday player. As far as pitching yes they need 1 more because I would bet even money one of those pitchers you mentioned will get injured during the season.

He’s okay nothing spectacular but serviceable.

Trent Grisham accepted the $22m QO. Absolutely abysmal on Cashman's part.

Either Jones or Jasson will continue to get buried in yet another poorly constructed team.

Good for Grisham, great 2025..... earned the money. Potentially catastrophic for the immediate and far future.

The Yankees now have an estimated $12m left before hitting the "Cohen" tax threshold of $304m and they are a worse team than last year..... yipeeeeee
