I ripped a blaster after I saw my Gamestop got a case of blasters in. I pulled a /225 numbered as my highest card from the blaster. What are numbered odds for Blasters?

They had a bunch of these at a GameStop I went to yesterday. I ended up buying the MtG Amazing Spider-man gift box instead though. Probably should have bought Dune instead.

They are "cheap". IMO, great buys currently, but only time will tell. I ended up nabbing this one: ![]() For not much more than the price of a box. I'm thinking if Topps doesn't do much more with the property, things could go way up as we get closer to the last movie and/or after it releases, assuming it does well. Anyone else grabbing singles?

Putting together the beige pulsar ref 1-90 to go along with the base and silver ref sets
Seems like a great time to buy as many are dumping to recoup (nothing earth shattering there) Seeing tons of this was opened overseas, more so than i would have expected |

I’ve been buying one subset. I might be the only one but I like them!

$129 pre-sale -> $149 release -> $99 on BO
Been a minute since I seen prices go down this fast from release. Fanatics must've dumped the stock they held back. |

It’s really not a bad release. They just made a boat load and didn’t land the two biggest auto needs.

A buddy of mine pulled a non-numbered Christopher Walken auto out of a blaster. The corners are smoked but it's still really cool.

Wow, thats pretty low...I think for that price given it's 1:3 chance at auto, easier to get that price than buy blasters.

Just bought 3 boxes more at the $99 price. I've had success selling the base set at $80 on eBay. I'm hoping to make the 2 unnumbered refractor sets of the base eventually.

Gosh I haven't ripped wax in forever. The Dune hobby box prices have me tempted but I just have to remind myself - a few hundred saved is a few hundred earned and to snag singles on the cheap.
Used to be me selling the singles to recoup all the money I spent chasing the big wax hits. The group breaks on here were tons of fun, especially for higher end products like Stellar. Those breaks were usually worth the risk / reward.

Nothing big in my 3 boxes today. Got a Jamis auto, a Gurney Medallion, and the usual array of numbered cards with none lower than 99. Still happy to have more to make the various versions of the base set.

/299 Magenta /275 Purple Speckle /250 Purple Lava /225 Blue Sonar /199 Purple & Blue /175 Aqua Lava /175 Aqua /1 Spice Orange Speckle All those should have been nixed, IMO. Keepers, again, IMO: Unnumbered Refractors Unnumbered Raywave Refractors Unnumbered Beige Pulsar Refractors /150 Blue Wave /99 Green /75 Blue /50 Gold /25 Orange /10 Wave /5 Red /1 Superfractor It would have been quite a bit more expensive, wax wise and singles wise... But no one is buying those filler cards(at least not for very much money). Personally, I'm doing a framed piece with /150's and /75's and then just picking up singles I like for the PC, both to display. This is a great set for anyone who loves the movies and collecting cards though...tons of cheap options to actually buy without have to do second mortgage type activity

Super nice addition orion9578!
I need the gold one, only one listed on ebay is $150. I'm waiting it out to find one cheaper. Bad thing is it seems people stopped opening this after the initial release. The frequency of new stuff on ebay is dwindling. It might be a long time before I can complete my sets. |

I’m still tempted to get more but Dune 3 will be another full year. Lately the time between series and movies kills the market on non-sports as it’s “Out of sight, out of mind”. Strange New Worlds is another example of having it fade from popularity until the next tv series (Season 4) comes out.
Yes, I enjoy breaking, sorting, and flipping a nice set. With top stars and decent autos, the Dune release seems worth it in the long run. Vinny Update: I just ordered another case. Analyzed my budget and figured I'd pass on Star Trek in Feb since we are selling our house and will be busy. So, let's see what's in this case.
