Ok, but he's next to dead last in 2 categories, 28th in completion percentage and 27th in Passer Rating (between Michael Penix Jr and Tyler Shough).

And he's 18th in QBR (between Caleb Williams and Penix Jr)

I like Nix and think he has a solid future. The "top-5 in TDs" thing doesn't really move the needle, given that you think one of the guys in front of him on that list could reasonably be replaced as his teams starter.

When you imply "A LOT" of people want to see Hurts' backup come in....love to see love for said backup....and are on record saying the backup is a better passer...you're not endorsing the guy as a lock starter.

You made it sound like I personally said McKee would replace Hurts but I repeatedly said that it would never happen, so please don’t lump me in with the people on X who are calling for it. Now that being said, I certainly don’t think Hurts is MVP worthy at this point in the season

Great game for Nix and the Broncos. This felt like a playoff game going into the bye.
This is an especially great win when you consider that the Broncos were missing both their number one RB and number one Corner. The division is within grasp and Nix has a chance to rest up and work on his game. Should be an exciting end of the season. Nix to the moon

They are holding him back.

Every game in which Nix needs to drive the ball in a two minute offense and can’t throw dink and dunk passes that Payton loves to throw, he carves defenses up and drives them down the field easily.

Why will Payton not allow Nix to run this kind of offense all game long?
He excels in it.

Waiting to hear Bo explain his crazy unexplainable pick thrown to Bobby Wagner.
In the same game, he made this very strange interception, and made one of the best TD passes you are ever going to see. It was a roller coaster

He has not looked good this season objectively. He is RTG is lower than Michael Penix and Kyler Murray. His QBR is lower than Penix and Mac Jones.

As great as their defense is I don't believe it is the 2000 Ravens or 1984 Bears which took their teams to the championship.

I like NE and Buffalo's chances to reach the SB more at this point. They did win a SB with a great defense and a used up Peyton Manning so maybe they have a more realistic chance than I believe.

He also has been clutch leading his team to multiple comeback wins. No doubt a bit of sophomore slump but so has Jayden Daniels

The key is he’s eased up on turnovers just one in the last three games
