Dudes a headcase and I'd imagine this is it for him in any professional capacity. I dont know why anyone would consider working with him. Imagine a semi-pro league where getting rid of a team lead by a previous FHOF NFL player is better for the brand. Anything he touches turns to poison. The way he's going, though I'm a believer that your on-field performance should be what matters, it will probably take a senior committee to vote him into the HOF and that'll be decades from now.

He has been bat sh&t crazy for years but I always thought Dubai didn't have an extradition treaty with Western countries. Supposedly bunko artists, thieves and drug kingpins hide out there but AB is extradited?

My personal theory is that he wasn’t exactly behaving himself in Dubai - which probably isn’t terribly hard to believe - so they wanted to get rid of the headache and called our State Department and said “if you want him, feel free to come take him.”

The U.S and UAE are strong military, investment and strategic partners. For a crime like attempted murder that’s an easy serve by the UAE irregardless of his behavior. If he thought he was safe from being extradited by the UAE he was sorely mistaken.
