1998 Upper Deck A Piece of the Action Series 2 Jersey/Bat Roberto Alomar

You don't see these every day.

Hard to believe these have print runs to 225. Ive seen less than 5 of the Andruw Jones in about 7 years of looking. Got one of them signed to mock the Griffey

Posted this in the 90s FB group so might as well post here. I’ve had the base blue for probably 7-8 years and have been looking for the PP that entire time. Saw 0. There like 4 popped up in a month and I was finally able to grab one. These are ridiculously hard to find for /180.

Awesome stuff. There’s some rare 90s baseball in the fanatics weekly this week. Probably is every week but I noticed multiple Frank Thomas ones.

Ya it seems like the Fanatics Weekly auctions are becoming the place for rare 90s for the big names. Still see a lot of commons popping on eBay but definitely notice a trend with higher end cards/players showing up on Fanatics.

I’m curious to see with more stuff popping of late which marketplace becomes the go to for buyers and sellers of rare 90s.

My second-best ever bargain box finds, these were in a Pokémon dealer's 2/$1 box:

1999 Upper Deck Black Diamond Quadruple Diamond #80 Mark McGwire (Damage Replacement serial number)

McGwire Quad Diamond

1997 Flair Showcase Legacy Collection - Row 1 #34 Sammy Sosa, #54 Bob Abreu, Row 2 #151 Trevor Hoffman

1997 Flair Showcase Legacy Collection

NFS right now

All of them were in yellow toploaders, but had been penny sleeved at least.

The current state of the Pedro Martinez PC. The 1999 Fleer Brilliants 24kt Gold is available. Looking for other Pedro cards in trade but would let go for right price. It's been 12 years since I posted a picture on Blowout so apologize if it doesn't show up right.

1998 Donruss Elite Status Tom Glavine /100. I was really happy to see how clean this card is. Raw is always a gamble, but this one is nice.

Pretty cool subset and cheaper 90s parallel for being numbered under /100. Jeter one likely wins some award for one of his best card photos

The 63 Classics are so hard to find in that condition. The green paper back chips easily and the gold foil scratches easily. Great adds Bleecker!

I found a Larry Walker /63 of these in a Rockies common bin at a show back in March. I told the vendor that this card was worth a lot more than $1, he took a quick look at it and still sold it to me for $1. I was willing to negotiate a higher price, he seemed to just want it gone. Win for me I guess. It kinda amazes me how many people out there don't truly know what they have.

Got another Bagwell been searching for, for years. Funny how I got two rare Bagwells this year that I hadn’t seen in years.

1997 SPx Grand Finale.

Will eventually send to get put into a slab like all my other ones but not in any rush to do so
