"List at our prices or lose allocation."

Most of my A&G related saved searches have been dry as a bone for a while. I feel like this stuff is just sitting. Not getting bought or ripped.

I could absolutely be wrong. But it just feels like hanky panky to me.
Why/how would be the motivation to force retailers to list and basically not sell a one year old product at 3x initial msrp?

I think that breakers shred so much of the initial allocation out there that what is left dries up really fast.

Make the market look healthier than it is.

Making shops list at $150-175 would accomplish the same thing.

Local shops? They get minimal allocation. Their product is gone almost instantly. The online shops have far wider access and visibility.

Looks like hobby boxes are still available, would have thought they’d be gone by now

Grabbed an extra one today. I know I am an irrational Ginter fan but I am pretty excited for the 20th anniversary and think there will be some really nice surprises in this set and hoping the reduction of hits means better quality hits overall. Like some years you could get a 3 full size relic box, those were brutal. I would rather have a 2 framed mini relic box than those. Look forward to the full checklist!

Default NO WAY

NO WAY I am buying this. Topps just lost my money. I've been buying this and other releases every year but I am not getting suckered any longer!

3 hits to 2 hits. They are calling a vintage buyback??? what's that??? a hit???

For 129.99. No way. Absolutley no way.

I am hating Topps more and more. This abosulutely SUCKS. Very stupid.

I'm really hoping going from 3 to 2 means no more full sized relics. Those just never felt right in A&G. I'm not even a relic guy. But the framed look so much nicer.

Very disappointing sell sheets so far.

A rainbow of new foil filagree cards.

Fractors and Full Napkin cards in every color.

Framed minis in every color.

A 'best beaches' set for the second time?

50 fish from around the globe.

50 state birds.

United States Lighthouses

Larry David Autos in the Hobby boxes.

The DNA Fossil Relics (Hobby) remain, Cut Signatures, Line-up Cards.

Info up on the other mega site already.

Unless the full checklist seriously beefs up this weakness, I'll skip over to the secondary market.

Guess our hopes of no more full sized relics is gone. Still have the A and B relics, now with even more parallels.. this could be horrible in combination with the reduced hits per box

So this is a straight up lie?

"Each Hobby Box packs two hits, on-card autos, framed relics, rip cards, or vintage buybacks, making every rip a journey through the weird, wild, and wonderful."

No mention that hits will include full size relics.

A lot of people say they can't wait until they take over everything. That will be the biggest disaster ever and the downfall for cards.

Glad I held off on purchasing. Gotta see the checklist - or at least sell sheet - before blindly buying wax.

I'm a ripper not a sealed wax hoarder. Usually rip at least a case of A&G but this does not look like a fun rip at all.

Will save the money I woulda spent on wax and buy singles instead.

Was hoping for more for 20th anniversary.

That’s always best

Ginter has become trash and that’s all I used to collect. These cases will be lucky to bring 200-300 dollars in value if you are lucky enough to get double rip cards of good players.

All these napkin relics end up in card show 25-50 cent bins

Is that different than the 2007-2018 frames relics that also end up in dollar bins? I know this because I’ve moved over 200 of mine the past year and most sell on my COMC account in the $1-3 range.

I love Ginter. But don’t act like it’s THAT much different than it used to be. I’d argue it the checklists recently have been among the best they’ve had in its history.

What’s ultimately changed is that sports cards have tripled to quadrupled in MSRP across the board in the past 6 years. THAT is the difference. It’s not a ‘Ginter thing’.

They still have not sold out. I guess they are testing the "word of mouth purchase" with no checklist?

That would be cool if they put a "Pokemon Fad" Card as a non sport SP. Boxes would be sold out in 2 seconds

I was thinking that. IF Fanatics were smart:

They'll start slowly revealing the bigger names on the checklist, just as pre-orders are selling out, and then steadily reveal more to get the bulk of their sales at the slighty higher release day price.

I have built this set through cases/box since it first came out and definitely feeling like a boomer for saying this but I'm not ripping this year. I'll cherry pick some nonsport autos and maybe insert sets and that's it.

Here's a little more info I don't think has been mentioned here. Doubt it moves the needle for anyone, but I'm looking forward to a few boxes for pure entertainment.

Can only hope for a decent baseball auto checklist.

No box toppers and no box topper relic cards?

And if you like Foil Filagree, more more more!

No surprise. Look what they did to Heritage this year to make it more gambler friendly. More parallels more chrome less hits.

Sorry Fanatics, this won’t be broken by breakers for very long. Hope you didn’t print this to the moon but you have for every other mainstream release so expect to see this around for a while.

Any guesses on the 20th Anniversary cards? Maybe like the gold-foil-stamped buybacks from the 10th? Just the first set, or do you think they'll do multiple years in buybacks?

I'm only chasing potential Darin Erstad's and hoping for buybacks for 2006 and 2020.
