Just had a 1/30 PSA 10 run in a Pokemon order. PSA is getting worse.

PSA offers might be glitched, offers are all terrible on my 19 card order. They do not match up with the theoretical offer if you search by serial number in the app. Ex: Offer of $782 in for one of my cards in my orders, but if I search the same card serial number in the app, the offer is $1,170.

Seems like we see more reports like this every time they scale.

I thought their ultra modern grading had been pretty reliable the last 6 months or so.

My orders have all been in the 70% gem rate this year, so my last two orders have been extremely bad.

Hey all, hope all is well with everyone.

Throwing this out to you guys who are more experienced / knowledgeable-
I haven’t submitted in a while and am preparing some Ohtani heavy submissions.
I remember reading a while back that people were experiencing some pretty significant gem rate differentials between orders graded in NJ vs those at headquarters in CA.
Are you guys still experiencing noticeable discrepancies?
(I live in NYC and am contemplating a drop off)
Thanks!

my 9/22 arrived value bulk is still not checked in. I called CS and they said they are still working on opening packages from 9/17. I called last week and they said the same date so i'm not sure what going on but I'm starting to get really wired that its been 42 calendar days and 29 business days and it's still not received. longest i have ever had to wait by far. crazy

Wonder if a bunch of Value non bulk or Value Plus orders got submitted before their recent price increase which would jump the line over the bulk orders.

I replied to one of your previous posts; I was in a similar situation.
I had 4 orders dropped off on 9/16 and they just hit R&ID on 10/30.. so that should give you a timeline.

Grades 10/31/2025. Lower than average 29/50 (58%) gem rate. Also some 8 and lower mixed in. Borderline GOD but not the full version since half the Jordan cards did gem. They did have a few strong offers on some 9 grades which helped offset the poor gem rate.

What's to stop PSA from buying back their own "PSA 9s" and converting them to PSA 10s?

I had a value bulk dual ticket order that i dropped off at a PSA drop off event on Sept 28th, still not checked in. I emailed customer support and they said they were receiving 50,000 packages daily and were currently on 9/23. This is the exact exert from the PSA email

"Currently, at PSA, we are experiencing delays in all departments, particularly in receiving, as we receive around 50,000 packages daily. This is what is causing the delays in entering your order. The estimated processing times for an order do not start until the package has been opened and the submission is entered. For Value orders, we are currently opening packages that arrived on September 23 as of this morning. Submission #xxxxxxx was dropped off on September 28th, so you should definitely see it entered within the next week and half!"

When I posed this thought in another thread, I was told “because they aren’t organized enough.”

Apparently having the world’s leading grading company in place to put cards in slabs—then the only system of its kind coming from a grading company that is set up to buy those slabs from people—then these purchased cards physically sit between the same people who graded them and the people who crack out and regrade cards isn’t “organized enough.”

Hit QA in the last few days. Fortunate to miss out on "assembly hell". Time will tell if the finger of GOD was on it. Four others in the pipeline and I'll probably send another order late this week or early next.

Not much incentive for shenanigans at the price points contained in my average order. 95% of cards I submit have a PSA 10 value less than $100. I really enjoy this segment since I don't have much competition for that kind of raw and it's usually picked up on the cheap; typically from quarter box to $5 box.
