2025 Topps Chrome Spongebob - Page 17

I've been grabbing the /199 /175 /99 /75 parallels more than the /150 /50 /25 /10 /5

I'm not a fan of the colored parallels ruining the visual background of the cards.

I like the refractor that add the water theme background effect. My favorites are the /75 and /175

Answering my own question.. looks like one sold on ebay for $2000.. it's a dual autograph with Bob Joles

The sapphire odds are part of the regular odds. Good to see a release date. Maybe $399? lol

Unfortunately, everything gets the sapphire treatment these days.

might be a dumb question but are the cards that come in the saphire set part of the original print run or will it have all new 1/1s sketches etc?

Interesting that would be the first sapphire product I’m aware of that they changed the format. Usually is always 8 packs and 4 per.

I hadn't noticed that. Interesting.

Quick math and looks like there are approx. 705 cases of this stuff which seems low.
I guess this means no case winners in the EQL lol

For comparison, '25 Disney sapphire is slightly over 1000 cases.

If the pack configuration is correct and the number of cases is indeed lower, then these will be loaded to the gills.

I am torn between breaking a few boxes or giving myself an early christmas gift and opening a case.

if their loaded though.............might have to be a case.

Seems like you were right. Saw a box mockup and you can barely see it's the usual 8 packs 4 cards per.

So a little over 1000 cases.

Nearly identical odds as star wars sapphire, so similar color in a case.
About 4 autos in a case based on odds.

Singles prices will be fun to watch. Chrome singles could see a dip as sapphire singles compete with them.

I wouldn't say dumb ... more so just naive to trust that signing up for EQL notification doesn't always work the way Topps intends it to. Sometimes you just don't get the email (happens to me all the time) and sometimes topps just doesn't send it and sometimes you're busy and you don't realize it and sometimes it goes into a folder other than your primary folder. If you want to play that game, go to the landing page and click get notified in red and give 'em your email.

The window is usually strictly one hour. I usually double check the morning of as one release had its times changed.

Who is ready for $600+ saphire boxes with devaluation of hobby cards? I'm so excited to lose money on my investment on hobby now that saphire is released. Boy am i glad to be a trading card fan when I no longer need a wallet..
