Agreed. The Advents are pretty bad unless this is something you plan on doing with the kids, but from a collectors standpoint, Topps can keep it. Tins are underrated. Mega is the way to go though!

I opened 4 megas and was pretty happy with my results. Best cards:

Ohtani SP and Holiday SP
Coby Mayo Green Sparkle Chrome /99
Pete-Crow Armstrong Purple relic /199
Ohtani Light Blue Glitter

And the collation was good too - I had enough for a full set. Unfortunately the card quality wasn't great and I had to toss a bunch of cards in the trash because they had bad corners. And in many cases even with cards I had a duplicate of, both of them had the same damage to them. One card even had the same circular indentation in the same area on the back.

Had this same issue with having to throw away a bunch of base cards from series 1. Still haven't finished that set. The paper cards from this year just don't hold up well and it's really frustrating as a set collector.

Is it possible some of the autos are super rare, or may not actually be in the set? I've seen a ton of autos and am assuming a ton of this has been opened, but not one copy of these autos has surfaced to my knowledge:
Vladdy
Singer
Crews
Kurtz
Jobe
Saggese

I've seen multiples of all the other player autos from this so I'm just wondering if those 6 particular players and ultra rare?

Thoughts appreciated, thanks!

Am assuming the guys that I still havemt seen, and also Kurtz, only have autos in the more rare parallel versions.

Ya saw one pop up on Ebay too, maybe the same one lol, but am assuming of the guys i havent seen, and including Vladdy, they are only in the more rare parallel auto versions is why they are so scarce

Went to a LCS store near work. Didnt see any cards worth buying, so i bought 1of his 2 holiday boxs, he also had a advent box as well on display but did not buy it.
I am not opening it, saving it for a Secret Santa gift.

Topps odds sheet says 1:25 packs (Mega Box SE) or 1:24 packs Mega Box EA). I do not know the difference between the two, but basically one in every two boxes, where a chrome card takes the place of the relic 99% of the time.

Based on my very small opening of 9 boxes (6 from Topps, 2 Amazon 1 Target) I got 4 relics (one numbered to /299), 5 chrome cards (one box had 2) and one auto which really bucks the odds.

Anyone else see the 2025 Skenes hidden gems buyback? Ppl were shaking their heads over that one...but because it has the buyback stamp making it an 1/1, it's value tops an regular one.
