Any guesses on the PR for tomorrow's Ohtani card? Not sure it'll reach the 650K of his 50/50 card last year, but should be at least a couple hundred thousand easy. 250K+ to trigger the Opal Chrome parallels, would be nice to hit one.

Correct me if i'm wrong (and i hope i am as i bought three) but i thought it was ONLY for regular in-season accomplishments

Edit: Happy to be wrong, just checked the website description and we are indeed getting a gold image #3HR card like last season but this will be even better i imagine!

When I first remembered I had to check the page also, I thought it covered the playoffs but honestly wasn't sure. LOL Imagine if he had gotten 5 more strikeouts?

Unfortunately I believe the bonus cards this year are no longer gold, but just have the RTOD bonus verbiage in the corner.

Yeah just barely enough for the Opal Chrome parallels. I imagine those will be highly sought after. Not too surprised at the PR. No build up like the 50/50 game and I wonder if lack of variations or not enough relics drove people away. They really dropped the ball on those.

I agree....I thought a booklet with auto and multiple relics was in order for this.

All the autos/relics are lottery with upcharge on the base card.

That is unfortunate. Similar to buying lots of wax in the past my 2016-2025 run with Topps Now has completed.

Yeah that team set PR is going to be absurd. My girlfriend doesn't know anything about baseball and this being a great world series I got her hooked ... well, she heard the announcer say "Boba Fett" but I said that was Bo Bichette so she was super invested for some reason (no, she doesn't really like star wars either). Anyways today she sent me a photo of the triple auto relic card ...

So if you're thinking about buying stacks of team sets, the marketing has been done so much for those that she saw the product hit and thought to forward it to me.

Topps/Fanatics let the players off the hook...never /49 and /99 autos anymore. The time players were taking to fulfill obligations was just too much and buyers were not patient enough even for items that were within the time frame given.

Bring back the /49 and /99 autos and base relics...sell them directly to public.
Send a special parallel with an apology to buyers if the players take too long to fulfill obligation.

Keep the /25 and better as a "chase" but keep the base price of cards at standard price.

This would be a great idea. My Topps Now auto/relics, especially from Playoffs/World Series, are some of favorite cards in my collection. It was really a bummer to lose that this year.
