Thank you! I have thought of crossover but I don’t have a lot of extra funds right now for the $1k plus PSA will charge to grade it with its value. I suspect whoever were to buy it from me would probably do the crossover. Definitely a high chance at crossing

IMO... Mahomes is the MJ of NFL and Brady is the LeBron of the NFL.

I know that doesnt follow chronologically, but Mahomes just has that "holy crap, did you just see that?" highlight reel about him, whereas Brady has this unbelievably long body of work at the highest level that'll just likely never be matched.

That makes sense to look at it like that. Mahomes changed the game

Pure propaganda. 100% expected. Mahomes plays in the ultra soft modern nfl. Jordan played in the gritty nba. Put Mahomes in the gritty nfl era where you could smack wide recievers cutting in the middle and put a licking on quarterbacks without flags and the come talk to me. He didn’t change the game, the game changed on its own.

Brady has the stats, the rings and the legendary story. He’s the Jordan of Football.

Can you imagine Jordan going to the wizards and winning a championship with them? That’s what Brady did!

Now if you say Mahomes is Magic Johnson, that makes sense.

I think it’s a different way of looking at things. Yes you have the comparison of the rings but when you factor longevity which Brady is so well known for. LeBron does make sense as a comparison of player.

I also think Steph Curry is a good comparison to Mahomes

MJ is the GOAT of basketball. Brady is the GOAT of football. It ends and begins there. Both had a legendary story that was a prelude to their professional careers. Both had that raging competitive fire. You can say they both played with anger.

Now I’m old enough to remember Magic dazzling with no look passes and creative artistry as a point guard. Mahomes is more like that point guard type of qb. That’s a compliment being that Magic won 5 championships.

Sorry but the nfl swallows mlb..it’s not even close … mahomes being American (white/black combo) makes him insanely popular…yes right now he can be polarizing to the other 31 fan bases but when it’s said and done, he will be one of Americans biggest icons… the average viewer can see his magic displayed on MNF. Yes Brett did some of that in the 90s but viewerships and social media will continue to showcase mahomes…in the hobby, MJ, Kobe, Curry, LeBron, Brady, and Mahomes will continue to ascend…don’t say i didn’t tell you so ten years from now

I do agree Mahomes will be right next to Brady in terms of the football hobby. Just like MJ, LeBron, Kobe and Curry are at the top for basketball in the hobby

Millennials who will soon have all the money know about MJ because of the 90s. When we hear about Magic we think of the AIDS virus. Its drilled into our brains.

Mike trout was on pace to be the GOAT. Then he got replaced by ohtani who some people say is now on pace to be the GOAT. When he falls off it will be a new player. Flavor of the month…

Teams are now going back to running the ball and playing physical d. More so in the nfc then afc. That is the kryptonite to your hopes and dreams.

Young millennials did not grow up watching mj in the 90s. Those are the same people pumping up LeBron over mj. Clueless.

I think MJ and LeBron are 1A and 1B. I think when it’s all said and done it will be the same with Brady and Mahomes

Don’t mention trout in the same Sentence as Mahomes … trout is more like a Marino…I firmly believe mahomes will win a minimum of 5 SBs..and likely 4-5 MVPs ..I’ll stick to my prediction regardless of what others say

How'd I know that I was going to trigger the easily triggered.

It's not an accomplishments thing, it's more of a style of play thing that I'm referring to. Jordan was must see tv because of the wild shots he'd make and the fact that he'd do things in the most spectacular ways. I see the same thing out of Mahomes where every single week he's making plays that are just absurd. His highlight reel just this year alone is incredible.

Meanwhile, both Brady and LeBron where these unstoppable forces that weren't always as spectacular, but just relentless. And they managed to keep it up for longer than anyone else.

Likability matters just as much as performance in this hobby.

I see a lot of Steph parallels, but to me, Steph understates Mahomes. The biggest evidence is that out of 4 championships, Steph was Finals MVP just once. Mahomes is 3 for 3. He's hasnt played second fiddle to anyone, even in a sport where it's easier to play second fiddle as a super star in a championship game.

And I sure as hell don't want to hear any Trout parallel. Mike Trout has 1 more career playoff hit than I do, and I got cut from the Freshman baseball team. Comparing the two is pure cope.

That’s true, I was more looking at the jaw dropping plays. Steph makes half court 3s look easy just like Mahomes throws a 30 yard dime while being tackled and falling to the ground

Magic made spectacular plays. Why not compare Mahomes to Magic? The only tricky thing about that is Magic played in a cutthroat era whereas Mahomes plays in a watered down, powder puff version of the NFL. That’s just a fact.

Mahomes can easily get blown out again in subsequent super bowls like he did against the Bucs and eagles. Then the narrative changes BIG TIME.

In Baseball, greatness is measured by MVPs not championships. Mike Trout has 4 MVPs. More MVPs than Mahomes has championships. At one point he was the face of MLB.

Hell Montana was perfect at 4-0 in a gladiator, ultra competitive era of the NFL. He was the MJ of the NFL before Brady came along and Montana didn't even have the stats!

TBH... I dont know why you waste your time replying to every single post I make.

I don't even read them. I just see that you have like 5 posts on this page and scroll past. Probably the same mush as always. It means less to me than when my dog barks at the TV.
