My saga from the past couple of pages continues. On Friday I used the callback option and never got a call. Yesterday in the office I decided that I would wait on hold for as long as necessary and my call was never picked up. Today I had some time to sit and wait it out and I called right at 11 AM when the call center open. I stayed on hold for three minutes and somebody actually picked up. The representative said there is absolutely zero reason why my item should still be in the label stage and she had to go look for it.


She stated that it appears as if I had some open tickets for my job ID. I told her that I had sent approximately seven or eight emails and none have been responded to yet. She apologized and sent an email after hanging up saying that she would personally be looking into it.

I just received this email:


Hello XXXX,

We spoke on the phone today. As stated, I'll be going to look for your order very soon. Please allow me a few days to get eyes on it for you.

I'm very sorry for the delay but thank you for your patience.

Also looks like Beckett changed their label for 10s. One came with a 10 gold square. The other the 10 grade went on the back of the silver label.
That’s disappointing to see that they’ve started doing that again. I thought they stopped putting auto grades on the back. I actually had some older cards reslabbed a few months ago because I wanted the auto grades on the front.

Called customer service yesterday to just get a time frame on base orders. They told me right now they are around 60 business days. Mine was received on 9/1 so my guess is it will make the next step around the end of November to the beginning of December.

I didn’t say when delivered.
I said after the card is received. So yes, when BGS receives the card.
Below is the exact verbiage that BGS uses.

“Your submission has been received at Beckett HQ, and your valued collectibles are now securely in our care. The turnaround time of this submission is based on the service selected and will commence one business day from today.”

Thanks for the update.

Mine was received 9/11 (33 card order) and hasn't moved. Was hoping to get it back by Christmas but as I'm in Australia and my order is larger than average I doubt I'll be getting it back

Just checked my status this morning and it has been assigned a job ID#, good to know it is now in line to be graded. I don't expect it to move out of that for some time but if it does, I will certainly post about it.

This is good information. Mine was received 9/12 and invoiced on 10/2. Based on your previously stated 9/1 date for received, I’ll sssume I should see some movement in the next couple of weeks.

I tried calling this morning with no luck. Disconnects after 3rd attempt of “staying on the line”.

Would’ve went standard, but after last time them not following instructions I gave to a question asked of me from Beckett and held up for months I don’t feel like rewarding them extra money if they can’t deliver in a timely fashion.

Cert numbers are assigned when they verify the job and assign the job ID (basically creating the work order for your submission). The actual grading happens later in the pipeline.
