I enjoy seeing Belichick lose, but I think he made the right decision. When you're the underdog - which they certainly were - I have no problem with breaking the game down to essentially a 50/50 opportunity.

Had no issues with them going for it. But man that player didn’t even try to extend the ball.

Amusing enough, Belichick coaches his players NOT to extend the ball for the touchdown and the 1st quarter fumble by Paysour demonstrates why.

Obviously, on the final play of the game, you should extend the ball for all your life is worth but you have to wonder if the coaching philosophy NOT to extend the ball was in the young man's subconscious.

There are fans of neither team and even Auburn fans that agree that they got the call on the field correct based on comments posted outside of this forum. You don't have to look very hard to find them. Plenty of other examples as well - but a quick search and this popped up - 3 minute mark -

Regardless of any of this, Auburn was still up 10 at the time, gave up 20 unanswered points, and was shutout in the second half. They had plenty of other opportunities to put up points to extend the lead and give them a better chance to win the game but they couldn't do it.

Auburn blowing the game later is irrelevant to the fact that the non-TD was an atrocious call.

I think we have to give credit where credit is due and recognize that Massachusetts did not completely collapse and blow the game in the final minute this week like they did last week.

Texas offense and Arch is just not good enough.

On another note, my Broncos gave up a TD late and are going to lose. Battle of 3-0 teams. We would have had a great position to win the MAC. Now the road is tougher.
