I love how other fans are saying the chiefs are a mediocre team based on their record ..like unless you have been living under a rock the last 4 weeks, I’ll give you a pass …same goes for all the guys saying mahomes isn’t mvp material ..dude leads in total TDs, yards , etc ..all these chiefs haters are so blinded by their hate, they can’t even see things correctly now . All they say is chiefs will lose, then they win, it’s the refs..cry me a river

A lot of folks are eating their words or just ignoring what they said a few weeks ago when it comes to the team performance.

Anyone saying that Pat isn't playing at an MVP level right now is either clueless or just lying.

Plenty of quarterbacks are playing at an MVP level. And they are elevating the players around them. Mahomes needed Rice and Worthy to elevate him.

To act like mahomes was carrying that team before everybody came back is pure baloney. As if spags was riding on mahomes shoulders. What other mvp candidate wouldn’t want the best play caller of all time and wouldn’t want one of the best defensive coordinators of all time? And how is this dude in the lead when the chiefs are 8th in the AFC? Historically the MVP went to guys who were on 1-2 seeded teams.

It is a rookie auto. Instead of the RC logo it has the 2017 Draft logo. It was likely the first cards he signed for Panini on draft night.

But your observation on the card is why I've stayed away from it. It's a collector's rookie auto since you need some context to understand it which limits its ceiling IMO.

Vegas does not care about people’s feelings or fan base knowledge of teams…they care about making $$..so they go off of analytics …I assure you they have guys much much smarter than us calculating odds and spreads , so forth…I assure you if chiefs and jags played tomorrow, chiefs would still be a favorite ..probably 6 points or so…now having said that, there’s always no guarantee outcome …analytics and models are based on probability …but that just goes to show chiefs are viewed as very good right now..:you can blame refs , point out their losses, etc ..you can’t change Vegas (who’s based on UNbiased opinions)

My thought on this card is that it'll never be adopted by the masses as 'the card to have', but it'll always appreciated by Mahomes collectors. The photoshopped jersey hurts, it being the first card he signed on draft night helps.

In other words, it's one of the more stable investments in the Mahomes market.
