I opened a case of megas - 10 relics and 11 chrome (1 box had one of each).

Of the 11 chrome, I had 1 green /99 (Crews), 4 blue /199, 2 purple /299, 4 base /499. No autos for me.

Basically every box had your ornament, 2 image variations, 1 holiday back variation, 1 metallic blue glitter, 1 light blue glitter, 5 silver glitters, and either the chrome or relic.

Aside from that I had 1 hidden elf (Witt), 1 Santa Archive (1971), 1 purple glitter /99 (Arozarena).

Really pretty standard for this release. Probably would prefer the chrome over the relic to be honest.

I'm 75% through a case of Megas and this has probably been my breakdown as well. No autos. Probably trending more chrome refractors than relics but that may even out over the last 5 boxes. I've also hit paper red foil /10 (Perdomo) and purple foil /99 (Chourio). Best Chrome so far is maybe Martian Blue or Elly Refractor. Also have the 1 Santa Archive, haven't checked for hidden elf but had 1 box with fewer SPs so guessing I hit one in that box.

Initially suspected the "holiday backs" were parallels of the entire set as my SP hits were mostly top Hobby guys/RCs and my SSP holiday backs had a more diverse group that included good, not great guys. So my initial pull of a Holiday Back Ohtani had me thinking I had hit something at least kind of rare. Would be nice to have a checklist...

You can buy a box the size of the advent or put them in board game priority boxes. Pro tip from the post office you don’t have to pay for large flat rate to use them . They fit perfectly in those.

It's either a relic, auto, or Chrome card. Chrome card considered a hit. Megas are the base bang for the buck imo.

Picked up a mega case. Sorting 1900 cards into 200 card sets to get $20 per set back just does not seem fun. Otherwise gotta hit a real low numbered Kurtz or Ohtani chrome. Seems a lot of people aren't hitting anything rarer than a green /99 per case. If I have to hit a gold or lower of 2/200 guys on a checklist, seems my chances of hitting something decent are under 1%.

I'll let someone else enjoy this one

The Chromes look gaudy as heck. Too much going on between the Chrome effect and X-mas decorations.

Awesome that the relics are game used by the player on the card.

Priority board game box was discontinued a couple years ago I think

Your contention that there's..."too much going on", is rather silly, to put it mildly. (To each his own, I suppose?)Uhhh,...isn't that effectively what the entire, Holiday/Christmas release, all about? What we buy them, FOR...? Was the hidden elf backwards or have a different CMP? Not paying close attnetion currently as i go through my megas.

It has a HE prefix on the card number instead of just H. I found a Roki sorting through the base.

Anyone know what CMP 27 is? I got a Brenton Doyle. It's green/red on the front instead of Rockies team colors. That's the only difference I can see.

It's a fun rip just for cheap wax but it certainly isn't a good value if you're trying to recoup your costs. I'm also not sorting sets. I'll put the base in a monster box and stack that at storage. My collation was bad enough that I had, at most, 5 complete sets because I ended up with 5 batting Ohtani base.
