As mentioned before, hard work gives you good exercise. Also makes the day go by quicker.

NGL, I was, but not anymore. had been planning to move out of state, and asked work with plenty of notice if we would be able to take our jobs with us (me 19 years this year, my wife 8 years) A global company with more people who WFH than in offices. After 3 months they came back and said NO because there was a RTO mandate for our HQ. We already were doing 2 days in office, they wanted 3, and said if we lived anywhere but HQ area we could do whatever. So at that point both of us gave up on doing anything extra and stopped caring. I went on some interviews and was ready to leave. We changed course and stayed because moving was going to be waaaaaay expensive and finding a place to live+work was going to be an issue in such a short amount of time. I do A LOT and my boss told them it would take 3 new employees and 3 years to catch them up to speed on what I do and know.

just found out that someone in our office has moved to another state in the last month and kept their job (at the same time as us, another person in another state also moved w/o issue). We would have been gone at the end of Sept, so now we are even more pissed and care even less and I think I'm going back to the job hunting block for FT WFH. F this place I work for.

My employer just required everyone to do a "workplace location attestation" that basically asked us to verify the institution's understanding of whether you work IP, FH, or some combination of the two.

I suspect they are going to use this to catch some people lying and use that as justification to fire them.
