When did BA become the biggest thing for MVP? This is a first. Was he a DH in 99 games this season? If so how do you give a DH the MVP? Just asking a pretty simple question.

Raleigh had 38 games at DH, 120 at catcher.

Also batting average became a big deal when the dinosaurs woke up from their slumber and forgot we have better ways to measure offense.

Clutch Cal! What a great win for the Mariners. Hope they can keep that momentum going back to Toronto

How many games did Ohtani play at DH last year?

Yankees fans: Batting average is the bestest stat, so Judge should win MVP.

Also Yankees fans: Judge's .500 postseason avg was empty because he didn't produce enough XBH and RBI.

No, it's the fact that Judge crushes Cal in every offensive stat except homeruns and RBI's which is one of the biggest reasons he should win MVP.

And I don't know one Yankees fan that isn't happy with Judge's post season production this year. He did way better than his previous post seasons. It was the team around him that failed.

I’m curious: Why did you leave out steals?

You're going to die on 2 more steals? Neither steals at a a significant rate to matter in an MVP race or even to their team.

All he did was ask you a question and you're freaking out instantly. Interesting.

Even more interesting is that you can't figure out that it wasn't JUST a question.

Anyways. Cal had a great post-season. He was a machine, no doubt about it. Better than Judge's postseason in just about every way.

I mean he's obviously baiting him, but it was just a question.

Raleigh had a historically good season

Anybody that thinks otherwise is just a troll

Well, except game 6 which was a disaster, wild throw cost them a run, 3 Ks and a DP

Nobody in here is claiming otherwise but not hard to believe you wouldn't be able to follow along.

Okay but he had a OBPS of 1.081 in 12 games. Him and Naylor were the only ones who bothered to show up. Yankee fans are the worst, they never win anything anymore so they’re reduced to hating on other players who may have the audacity to win an award over them.

Better or worse than dropping a can of corn to open the floodgates of blowing the World Series?

You can debate that. Maybe while you watch Cam Schlittler eliminate you again.

And he had an excellent postseason with a game 7 HR but that doesnt mean he's immune from criticism. He was awful in game 6.

Because paranoid Yankees fans with nothing better to do are worried he’s going to steal the MVP from Judge.

Not all Judge fans, who think he deserves another MVP, are Yankee fans.
