Sucks when it happens but it happens; are you planning on making a master set?

Put together a base set. Prob won't seek out the inserts. Tough to stay excited about a product t when it spits on your wallet!

IMO one benefit of this product not being super hot is that you could probably put together a numbered set for not a crazy price. its like "the old days" of pre covid

I have been here many times before brother, i know it sucks

On the topic of inserts from this set - i freakin love them and actually want to throw a master set together in a binder if only to put up in my ebay store - for me the chase is the fun (plus i do look at them quite a bit while in my hands)

Would you be willing to sell me your inserts or any numbered you don't want to offset some of your costs?

Opened my three this weekend. One auto (Dastmalchian), one /25, and everything else was /199 or higher. Will pick singles off eBay - I still like the set.

I just picked up two cases of blasters (80 boxes) that I will rip. Auto’s should be about 1:17 blasters I think. I’ll have lots of inserts to share for this set builders.

The odds say about 2.3 autos in a 40 box case but i got 6 in my blaster case...

Just returned home from a week long vacation.

Ripped my 1st box and hit a Jason Mamoa (Duncan Idaho) relic auto #/30. Unsure if I hit anything else good but definitely love the card aesthetics. Hit 3 other numbered cards, some unnumbered parallels (silver text and 1 prism looking one), a couple PA inserts, 2 spice inserts and a couple Chani base.

2nd box and I hit a Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck) auto #/75 LOL.

I'm not even half-way through the box. What the hell is going on?!

3rd box, no auto (felt like I was gonna hit an auto every box).

Going to decide what to do with my 3 remaining boxes but I'm happy with the rip!

Fun product at MSRP but I also enjoyed the Dune movies and like the card design. Probably gonna go for the base set too.

Ended up ripping my remaining 3 boxes. No autos or crazy hits but a couple low-numbered parallels (#/25, #/50), another numbered Chani, etc.

I think I completed a base set too. Put them into a binder and it stopped at 90, didn't hit any cards between 91-100 (or more) so just assumed it's a 90-card base set.

Fun rip overall.

They really are sharp-looking cards, especially the actor-specific shots (card numbers 1-35 or something).

Appreciate it! Although I started off real hot and cooled down fast, I was very happy with the outcome. Would've been cool to have a shot at a Timothy C or Zendaya auto though.

Not all cards but the vast majority are (both my cards are sticker autos).

I found $25 blasters at an old school hole-in-the-wall card store I dropped into after going to an antique paper show and pulled a /75 Jason Momoa auto. That was in like my second pack and I was in a rush to get home so I haven't decided yet what else I'm doing with the set.

I agree about the ridiculous parallel situation but it's helped by the fact that Topps isn't going to run Dune into the ground like Star Wars, Marvel, or Disney.
