Why do people get so frustrated they didn't land any? It's an easy $200+ profit after fees if you buy at MSRP. If you were Montgomery Club, you already got one.

It's just a raffle for free money.

it's cause of how incompetent fanatics is with this stuff.. at this point a multibillion dollar? company like fanatics should have their sales system set up so it doesn't waste people's time and effort..

This is the way they want it. The first few items with Shopify were set up to where everything was available and when it said sold out it was actually sold out. Those in demand products were gone in under a minute. That system if something was available 30 seconds that was an eternity. You could get from add to cart to place order in under 10 seconds. Now you can be the fastest non bot to add to cart or on the checkout page and your chances are just as good as someone 30 minutes later.

It's not even that they have the monopoly. The issue is they came up with the strategy to allow so much product to be sold at what they know is way under market value. Hold back a ton of the product. Then sell it at inflated costs under the table later on. If there was some entity to prevent them doing this, I do think they would go to auctions. But it will never happen now.

It's frustrating because it's NOT a real raffle. With the manipulated checkout delays, continuous small reloads rather than putting everything up at once, and nonsensical error messages they have intentionally created a system favoring bots and where non-bots have virtually zero chance.

People on here need to stop looking at this through the lens of "I was mistreated by Fanatics and didn't get my four boxes".

There were no boxes available at 11:00 am. If there was one, then you lost the Internet lottery to get it. Bots are a problem everywhere. It is what it it is.

These are worth significantly more than $400. There should be no expectation that you are guaranteed a $1000 profit simply by hitting F5.

If you paid for Montgomery Club, then you were essentially handed $200-250.

If you want more than one (not sure why, your EV on this product is much lower than $400), go pay the market value on Ebay.

If you don't like the fact that the breakers have inside deals with Fanatics that gets them cases and high allocations, gain 75 lbs and put on a backwards hat and become a breaker.

The upside is a free $200, and the downside is you wasted a couple minutes F5'ing on the Internet.

It's really not that bad.

This is 100% accurate.

It will be interesting to see what happens a year from now when it's virtually impossible for anyone outside of the 0.01% can make any money worth mentioning. The big reason everything went sky high when it did was that anyone could make good money. When essentially no one can what happens to the secondary market?

So.. Disney Wonder (a $109 box of a couple numbered cards and a rare chance of a sticker auto or rarer still, a sketch) is being sold thru EQL... whereas bowman chrome sapphire is sold onsite with a limited available inventory of somewhere between 1 and 1000 boxes (speculating) and a crap user selling platform...


it's almost like they want to shutdown the whole direct retail distribution business but then can't quite get there yet cause they still want a way to foist junk they can't give away otherwise on the public (i'm looking at you labubu... though of course, now that i said that something like veefriends will probably step in and pump it to the moon)
