Chris collisworth mentioned chiefs feel better about this team vs last years..I totally agree…the floor is lower this year but the ceiling is much higher…they are a dangerous 3/3 team.. now add Rice, mans it’s going to get hot in here

Yep. We.

Me, Mahomes, and my bank account, because Patty helped make me rich.

Brady too. That guy funded my retirement 25 years early so I can just enjoy life as it comes and never have to worry about paying bills at the end of the month. We won 7 Super Bowls together.

But Mahomes bought me my M3 sportscar, among other things.

Hope whoever your team is has been as good to you.

Nahhhh. Brady went through blood, sweat and tears to get those rings. You gave up none of that.

The way it feels to me is that no team is truly head and shoulders above everyone else.

But the bigger thing is that when it’s like that, you can count on Mahomes and Andy to separate themselves. So I truly believe they will be in the Super Bowl for their fourth year in a row. Possibly winning their fourth overall together

Getting Rashee back should be a big deal. Suddenly teams will really have to worry about the RPOs going for chunk plays, while still having to contend with Worthy and Tyquan.

I still worry about the pass rush and the run game. Mahomes can't have an off night if they want to beat any top half of the league teams.

Pacheco looked a lot better tonight. Looks like he has his legs under him now and is running with purpose

With this logic the narrative is back and roaring tonight. 0 penalty the whole game, tackle from behind by KC? Turn blind eyes, defender sniff on mahomes? Personal foul

The Chiefs offense has moved the ball up and down the field at will the past 3 games.

Defense was great last night. The Lions were hurting on D, but their offense was almost at full strength. Chiefs D dominated.

It’s an 18 week season. Anyone who claims to know what will happen after 1 or two weeks I would never take seriously even if they turned out to be right. After six weeks, things are still iffy. But media want their clicks and anti-Chiefs fans have to take their victory laps when they can get them, I guess. Many people can’t see the irony in 13 penalties one week, none the next but the opponent had 4 penalties both weeks.

Things are trending better for the Chiefs so hopefully they can avoid the injury bug to a large degree. It’s really hard to be consistently successful.

Still a long way to go.

Mahomes fastest to 300 TDs
Dan Marino
Aaron Rodgers
P Manning
Drew Brees

In that order ….why is someone always missing?

It's hilarious how so many victims of the moment lost sight of the fact that the team was operating without it's top 2 receivers and still playing competitively for the first 3 weeks.

The offense has gotten fun since Worthy returned to the lineup: Mahomes has 10 touchdowns in the last 3 games, and now leads the NFL with 15 touchdowns (Allen has 12 and plays tonight). Rice should open up a new element in the offense in that they'll now have a guy who can run the whole route tree and be a major threat to run after the catch.

On the other hand, the team is still just 3-3 with a very tough schedule coming up, so they'll have to avoid the killer mistakes that could cost them games they should win. The margin for error still isn't much, but is wider than it would have been at 2-4.

GREAT to see KC ramping up....

The only negative I am bringing up is the kicking game. I still the HB is top 3rd kicking in the NFL, but missing at least 1 kick in every game now (let alone the kickoffs) is concerning. Not sure if its an injury or mental, but needs to be corrected ASAP.

Rivelry game this week and then another big MNF game.

ive become torn on what to get. If you could get one rookie auto which one would you get, and it can't be the two most expensive NT RPA or Flawless RPA. Consider all graded the same which one is most desirable?

contenders
immaculate
impeccable
limited
NT rookie sig
Optic Contenders
Optic RR

Contenders … follows Brady’s and Mannings RC lineage.

IMO with the price of some of these contenders , I’d for for a low grade NT RPA /99…look at LeBrons exquisite , it’s king in the hobby :: could only imagine if Brady or Jordan had a RPA /99 equivalent…it wouldn’t matter what grade, it would be highly sought after

I personally would go with contenders/contenders optic or flawless but I’ll let the more experienced collectors answer

I know everyone has been waiting for Rice to return open up things even more, but do we even know how Rice is physically returning from the knee injury. I hope he is close to 100%, but are there any reports on his conditioning?

The reports coming out are that he looks fantastic.

It was only 3 drives, but he looked very impressive in the preseason this year, catching a touchdown.

He's going to be a schematic nightmare. Just getting Worthy back has done wonders for making defenses defend the whole field... not just vertically, but horizontally as well (think of his speed outs, crossing routes, and backfield end around action). Look how it's opened up for Kelce the last 3 games: 18 catches on 20 targets, vs 10 on 17 the first 3 games.

Rice is a guy you can't just man up and is a weapon on the RPO. In 3 games last year he was averaging 8 catches at 90 yards. Now he's in an offense with a better line and even more weapons around him. So now imagine having to worry about Rice running the entire route tree, with Worthy able to stretch the field, having to respect Tyquan, and you still have Hollywood and Kelce to account for. I'm seeing a more talented 2022 team from here on out as long as they stay healthy.
