Wow that was brutal. I can't believe Turang didn't let that ball hit him.

Treinen tried to hit Turang and Turang bailed him out -- wild.

Should have left Snell in.

11 left on base. 15 hits/walks combined. Not sure where 23 comes from. Pretty sure that’s not even possible.

That was definitely the plan, but Yelich could've walked to 2nd and there was no way LA would've tried to get him in that spot.

Luckily for the Dodgers, the instinct and ability to get out of the way is basically muscle memory for MLB veterans.

Came from here, but I guess that's cumulative left on base after each out, not number of base runners stranded at the end of each inning.

Yeah, some of those runners out of the 23 were the same runners when it's figured that way, but the fact remains, LA batters missed a lot of opportunities to drive in runs, including the near Grand Slam from Muncy that netted 0.

I can’t believe Dave did it. I also can’t believe it worked although it shouldn’t have.

Dave Roberts had no choice.
He's in the Treinen Files.
Blake calls the shots.

Ratface trying to write the blueprint for what a new age gun for hire, oft injured but ace while healthy not HOF resume might look like I guess.
He was my first modest flipping win in 17-18 when I re-entered the hobby son I’ve always had a soft spot and a respect for him.
He’s a great pitcher.

Yeah, it only worked because Turang didn't let that ball hit him, and swung at another ball a mile high...just pure DUMB luck

Game 2 feels like a must win for Milwaukee. Peralta needs a clean first inning to set the tone.

Snell has been the best pitcher of the post-season so far. I gotta give him props.

Take one for the team, Bryce and don't swing at a ball at your neck.

Brice not letting the ball hit him shows a big difference in baseball today than in the past. I remember back in the 90's how guys would lean into balls inside to get hit just so they could get on base. I wonder what his dad was thinking when he saw him do that.

Once upon a time, Jack Morris pitched 10 shutout innings in Game 7 of the World Series. These days, a pitcher can be en fuego but the computer says pull the guy. Reliver comes in and immediately give up runs.

THe ALCS umpire was horrible too. Springer struck out twice before he walked.

You guys make it like moving out of the way from a ball coming at your knees isn't reflexive.

That Turang could tell his brain in that tenth of a second to stay in there when he's been conditioned for 20 years to move out of the way is almost impossible.

This is almost like if I took my finger and tapped you on your face between your eyeballs and told you not to blink.

Treinen always finds a way to lose a game. Dodgers still won.

Seriously. Dude is dominating. No stressful innings. Barely over 100 pitches.

Let's take him out and put someone else in who isn't as good!

I'm so nervous right now. This really feels like a must win for the Brew Crew. Worst case scenario I at least want a series.
