That was my assumption, but I don't know the football market nearly as well as baseball. Some semistars in baseball could fetch that much so I wanted to check. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice Rice - I like the background artwork on those cards.
Here are a few of my 1995 Skybox Premium Paydirt cards (purple parallels): ![]()

Finally finished 1997 Topps Stadium Club Triumvirate I & II Cowboys team set. When most of us think about the hobby in the 90s we think about the great inserts. Topps really nailed it with these. I love these. I don’t grade cards but I bet these are a bear to get a high grade on. I bought most of these pre pandemic boom thank goodness. Looking back there are so many late 90s Cowboy cards I wish I had bought before the boom. There are 4 versions of each card:
Base Refractor Atomic Refractor Members Only(Looks just like the base but has members only printed on the back) Enjoy. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Picked up a rare parallel that is hard to spot and flies under the radar. 1997 Upper Deck Game Dated Foil. Beckett lists odds for pulling these as 1:1500. When you have these next to each other it’s obvious what the parallel one is. I think because the base version has the game dated box in foil sellers and collectors think they have the tough version. Upper Deck could have done a better job either serial numbering these or not having any foil on the base. I’ve been looking for this for years. Of course after I buy one another pops up on EBay but at way more than I paid. I wonder how many of these are sitting in dollar boxes or collections and the owner doesn’t even realize what they have.

Saw the Alstott Gold in the other thread so I decided to dig these out to see what I still had.

As many of you know I got back in the hobby in January 2011. After a few months of being a kid in the candy store I got focused and decided to try to be a master team collector of Dallas Cowboy cards from the years 1960 to 1993. 1993 being my last year of collecting as a junk wax kid. I’ve since added years up to 1998.
Pretty early on I started working on 1992 Wild Card. For the master base team set I’ve needed just one card for years and years. Jimmy Smith #238 in the 100 stripe parallel. All of these years I’ve never seen one come up for sale. Last week one did finally show upon EBay and I won it. It came in today! Below I present to you the master base set of the Cowboys. There are three Emmitt’s in the base set. So glad I bought all three 1000 stripes years before the card boom! 1992 Wild Card would introduce inserts and stripes for those inserts. Not pictured but I’ll probably be still working on those on my death bed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Love the wild card! I started the Marino’s over the past 2 years and need a base field force 1000 strips for the 3 runs he has. (I can’t do the silver and gold field force)
