A high average hitter with moderate 10-15 home run power seems almost like Arraez like.
I should probably just read the thread but how good was Greenwell and why weren’t there more seasons like ‘88? |

He wasn’t a power hitter at all.. but he was a solid hitter with a great eye at the plate. He has more walks than strikeouts. He has never stuck out more than 46 times in one season. On top of that, he seemed like he was well liked on his team. He wasn’t a “star” at all, but he was definitely a solid baseball player.

I actually pulled two of his autographs out of 2014 Topps Archives that year, one a gold version and the other a printing plate. I couldn't believe it. I enjoyed watching him play too. RIP, Mike.

Greenwell was one of my favorite players as a kid also. RIP.
