Yup. The bigger question (why do ppl spend their money on x?) has a number of answers like you mentioned. Some run deep and some are dumb. But for the most part, that's just a fun convo/debate to have.

In the meantime, see the reality of what's going on and play accordingly.

I don't either but I listed mine on ebay for $740 and immediately got three different people trying to tell me that I should let them have it for $675 because when the west coast people get their boxes, price is going to plummet.

Hoo boy that made me raise it to $945. I don't think it's worth more than $200 but with that ebay thirst and the breakers to boot ... well, I'll wait and see what happens.

I was extremely lucky with my one box...
Actually got to open it this past Saturday, so I got mine pretty quick.
Rare occasion of me being glad that I didn't look at eBay and decide to dump the box.

I finally opened my box. Mine was on the bottom end of things. Only thing that saved it was the Shohei. Only problem? It has a gash in the back. Sigh.2 autos was ok, but Festa should not have been one of the autos in this product. Probably the worst auto to get. I’m happy I got black. Overall, I’d rip again. Lol.

It's not a strong year for Bowman Chrome. There's no obvious Jesus Made or Jackson Chourio who's crushing stateside ball at an unusually young age. But the bold names are the guys you want. Bautista and Salas are probably in the next tier. Schlittler and Morii have the immediate hype and value. The other bolded names are more or less the best international prospects with the pedigree or DSL stats to suggest they could rise up the prospect lists.
