I think a lot of folks saw Texas losing on the road at Gainesville. Horns aren't good, Arch isn't good. So not many surprises with this final. Even the GD crew today said that'd be the upset if they had to pick one. So not really an upset if every single person picks it to happen.

Matthew Caldwell had the nicest play of the day for Texas.

We got some of the white stuff on the field in Laramie, Wyoming. Guess summer is over....

EDIT: First play of the game in Laramie was a fumbled flea flicker by UNLV, recovered by Wyoming. They ain't in Vegas - or indoors - anymore.

Oregon St is 3 seasons removed from being 10-3, and #17 in the rankings..which included 2 close losses by 3 points each to #7 USC and Washington- on the road...and won the Bowl game in convincing fashion 30-3...

Fast forward..

They are 0-6, getting throttled by Texas Tech, Oregon and California...

And losing today to a 3-2 Appalachian St...
