The Sunday night game could be interesting. I'll be looking to see how the Pats play. They seem to be treading in the right direction. Being in Buffalo primetime will be a great test.

Neither mac or turdy worth 50m but you can pay mac 10m and use the rest in other position. What a blunder by 49ers

Any QB is going to look a lot better with a healthy Cmac. He is good enough to carry an offense.

He's healthy this season but 2 games turdy played he threw 2 ints each, that definitely doesn't help the team win.

I agree though, all 49ers need is just a good game manager who doesn't turn the ball over And definitely doesnt take 50mm of cap space

Oh for sure. It might be a bit of relying on your best player when a backup QB. Which is the way they should be with Purdy. Almost like you have to justify Purdy by doing too much with him. He isn't a force multiplier kind of QB. But you paid him like one.

I'm of the opinion that 95-99% of QB success in the NFL depends on the situation you're drafted into. The other 1-5% is based on elite talent.

Some QBs are just drafted into bad situations and never given a chance to succeed due to their situation. Think about the bad NFL teams that wind up drafting QBs high and forcing them to start Year 1. They don't have the proper time to develop and don't have a strong supporting cast around them. They're destined to fail.

Sure, Mac isn't an elite talent, but he's also been dealt a pretty crappy hand by GM Bill and Coach Bill these last 3 years.

Watching the Rams naturally made me think of Kupp. Kind of amazing he had that monster year of 145 catches, almost 2k yards and 16 TDs. He had one other good year and the rest, not a whole lot. Injuries played a part obviously. The Brady Anderson of WRs.

Stafford still got it.
