Game 1 Skubal makes them dangerous in a three game series but the starters after that are still a crapshoot. Mize was great in his most recent start but I don't trust him or the rest of the rotation.

Beyond that, the lineup has been horrendous all month.

Really 2 on and one out for the game. You put in the no hitting Jake Rogers. Predictably he struck out. You may as well let him bunt so winning run is scoring position.

edit: Rogers played the whole game. Point stands, he can't bat in that spot.

Better off on the road, imo. Detroit crowd would be all over them if they fell behind 1-0 early with the lineup having nine strikeouts through four innings.

I did not want to play you guys again. The luck needs to run out eventually. 2 straight nights of champagne and then Skubal on Tuesday. I fully expect a hangover game. I guess anything can happen in 2 and 3, but hey, I'm at the "happy to be here" point right now.

I only like it because I'm not busy currently, so I get to watch baseball during work for at least a couple days. Loving it. Great game today. High drama. Some not great plays, but this seems to be Cle Vs. Det, tight games and comes down to a play here and there. As a Guards fan, I love it and hate it. High stress. Definitely respect the competition and good luck!

Skubal's just an equalizer in a three game series. It makes me sick all over again that Harris said there isn't a Skubal window.

This guy is a gift to the Detroit organization.

You are spot on. An elite pitcher during their prime ages on a good team. Of course that's a window for success. And unfortunately Harris chooses to gaslight the fans.
