I mean, it's really not (It lowers run expectancy in that situation), but this team can't hit and Hinch is desperate.

I'm not going to argue with the bunt, because the Tigers offense is inept, but that's why bunting (especially with your #6 hitter who has a lot of power) is dumb.

If the Tigers push across one more run it’s over. I think if it stays at 2-1 it will be tied in the Guardians.9th.

Brought the infield in and opened it up for the hit or sac fly. Batters didn't do their job to get the ball out of the infield. There is a time for analytics and a time to read the game.
