before i took the first bite, a girl who actually looked like she knew what she was doing was standing at our table with a (real) large sundae in her hand asking me if i wanted that one as well....

It’s only the oldest and me for dinner. I was going to make burgers but he didn’t want that (I didn’t really either) so I said we’d order something from a local pizza shop. Ordered a chicken caesar wrap and he got grande beef nachos.

Went to pickup the order, told them the number and what we ordered. The guys says “taco salad “. I said no, nachos. He looked, came back and said he must have pressed the wrong button, that the salad and nachos are beside each other. Told me to give him a few minutes to make the nachos.

I made nachos tonight. Also, we’ve gone from state of emergency to a storm making a sharp right and not getting any rain. How forecasts can be so wrong is beyond me. 1 day, prepare for a serious flooding event with dangerous wind. Next day, oh nevermind it’s not going to do anything.

Grocery and home improvement stores enjoyed the state of emergency.

No because even after Helene people in SC know our weathermen are wrong 99% of the time. People were already saying they weren’t worrying unless Jim Cantore showed up and the Coburg Cow in Charleston got taken down
