Yeah, you're right. It worked well for D. Jones, so might as well hit "replay" on that strategy. Another team will probably end up reaping the rewards if the wreck Dart, too.

This would be the best idea but they’re going to go with Dart to try and save their jobs. It may be their only chance at being a Head Coach/GM again. I think Winston would be better option this season to keep Nabers happy and Dart from getting killed.

After watching Daniel Jones the first three weeks it’s pretty obvious the coaching is clearly the issue with this team. Also, I’m not really surprised by his play but that’s a road we don’t need to go down anymore.

The problem is, Jameis is NOT saving anyone's jobs.
We have seen the Jameis show at every turn, and the episodes always end the same way no matter what team he's on.

This is what people should have expected the Giants to be. They have a brutal schedule and are poorly coached. They only looked good last week because Dal has decided to not play def this year.

You’re missing the point.

The best long term solution for the team is to let Dart sit and not be ruined by bad coaching and poor offensive line play.

Winston, in theory, would be more beneficial to keeping your offensive players from becoming disengaged. Mainly Nabers who appeared to be checked out by halftime and gave almost no effort for most of the second half.

Jameis might not save a job but I promise you he will make the game worth watching. Like Rex Ryan said two weeks ago he should have been gone 2 years ago. He makes the whole team stagnant.

I was on the side of putting Dart in, but these are good points. Especially after watching that line as the game went along - Thomas being pulled for some reason? - and the Nabers thing. Skattebo seems like the only guy on that offense that would be of help to Dart, and that's a lot to put on two rookies.

If Dart is going to start this year it shouldn't be until the end of the season. Sure you can play him at NO, but then he has phi 2x and den oh and then niners packers bears and lions with chi being on the road. Its week 14 at NE or its after the bye for WAS, MIN, LV, and DAL with 3 of 4 at home.

Is Travis Hunter in the NFL? Did he go back to College and we missed that?

Unfortunately I don’t see them holding him out much longer at this point even though they should. What worries me is that if he doesn’t play well and it’s not really his fault the new regime will come in and pick another QB next season.

Agreed. I've got cards to sell.

The media/fan pressure plus them trying to save their jobs will force the change and then they'll still end up with top 5 pick.

Yeah that’s exactly where we’re heading again.

Giants should at least put him in a handful of plays during a game. Pre-designed, repped in practice. Russ ain't the future, Jameis isn't either so get Dart some live NFL game experience here so that he hits the ground running in 2026.

I can't think of a time when playing 2 qbs ever worked.

The biggest issue lies in the search for coach/GM. Will there be a stipulation that Dart has to be their guy or will they have free choice of next years draft class?

Pretty much like a Josh Rosen situation.

This is the cycle ever bad franchise finds themselves in they never time, gm/coach/qb so they always get stuck with firing a gm/coach but then not letting the next gm pick their coach or the next coach pick their qb etc.

Exactly. It’s a viscous cycle.

I don't think it's playing 2 QBs as much as giving Dart a series here and there through the next month and a half to build him up a little, then hand it over to him in week 13 for the rest of the year. Not sure what a single play of him handing off is doing at this point. Maybe do it during road games so you don't have to worry about the fan reactions in real time.
