Notably absent in here is Sparty poo-flinger JV07 crowing about their big win over an FCS opponent.
Although they did give up 24 points to that FCS opponent, their Pass D was carved up like an Xmas turkey in a homeless shelter, and they sustained a bunch of injuries to starters. But Sparty on, amirite?

I don't know how good Nebras's run defense is atm. Michigan's OL has been inconsistent. And the secondary is very young and inexperienced.

As azzjubles would say, you forgot to add that the QB sucks too.

Bryce is coming for Nebraska this weekend!
Michigan interim head coach is saying all the right things "We thought at Oklahoma we would take the air out of the ball because they run an air raid offense. We're not taking the air out of the ball ever again. Not with this guy" Bryce is a special talent... #GoBlue |

Well, Michigan did nearly everything possible to hand Nebraska the game but managed to escape Lincoln with a win. Some good plays (both RBs busted off long TD runs), some stupidity (end of 1st half, Hillman's taunting penalty), but a win is a win.

It was clear that the line play on both sides of the ball favored Michigan. Blocking and tackling favored Michigan. These are the types of things Nebraska must improve on to become a contender in the B1G. The one thing they won’t be able to match is money so they must develop players better and then keep them. Easier said than done. Underwood will get better. Redshirt freshmen can struggle so that’s no surprise. Looks like he has a decent cast of characters to help him develop. |

The trend now is to follow analytics. I’m guessing that was the main reason. And honestly, they need to convert those types of plays to win key games. I can see the other side, taking the points and all. It just didn’t work out this time. Credit to Michigan, they made the stop.

I agree with chompie. Michigan was better on both lines. They really tackled well in space on the edges. Nebraska just doesn't have the same talent as Michigan. The margin for error against the big boys is slim. You can't give up multiple big TD runs and not make the other team earn it. Game could have been worse if Nebraska didn't convert hail Mary. Also, how the heck does Michigan always seem to get an easy schedule? Maybe USC on the road can get them. I expect 10-1 win facing OSU. |

Badger football is dead. This team is among the worst if not the worst team in the big Ten. The Luke Fickell hire is a disaster for the program. Stadium half empty at halftime and Fire Fickell chants at the end of the game. Has a huge buyout so he's probably not going anywhere even more so that the AD that hired him is unlikely to get fired.
UW football was once a proud program but looking like it's back to the pre Barry days. |

I concur with this assessment. USC in particular will be very tough. MSU always brings it, and Washington isn't a bad team.
