I was so mad at FT Jr Saturday during the 1st parade. I parked in a business right by the street and put the windows down since he didn't want to go sit by the street and watch the parade. I walked across the street about 15 minutes before the parade starts. Parade starts 15 minutes late and we had small bouts of light rain and the temperature dropped. 10 minutes left to go in the parade and my phone starts blowing up with text messages and ringing. Parade gets backed up and I answer. It's my wife complaining that I left my son in the car without the keys. no windows down, and it was 80 degrees out.

I hung up on her, walked across the street to start the car up and put the air on and yelled at FT Jr.

Now granted, the storm caused the temperature to drop 20 degrees and I'm on the street with a hoodie on and it's still cool, but he's sweating to death.

Speaking of mad, I almost said something to the auxiliary police officer across the street from me who failed to salute the American flag when it went by by the various department honor guards.

Due to the fact that the parade started 15 minutes late. the length of the parade, and having to drive through the storm to the west of us, the drive just wasn't happening to make it to Long Island for the 2nd parade. Instead, we went to our hotel and then went to North Bergen to a Five Guys for dinner. Watched baseball games on my laptop after that. Great seeing the Orioles embarrass the Dodgers Saturday night in the last inning.
