The state of the hobby made me lose interest real quick. I’m focusing my time on some other hobbies instead.

My kids still have a love for the hobby, so I will still be around. I know I will continue to check-in on this thread because I enjoy seeing the pick ups, and I will have to live vicariously through each of you.

The proliferation of the Topps UK blacks sure does muddy the searching waters...
I have no gripe about their existence, just first world bitching about the ease of finding what I want.
With all the redundant parallels across many similar product lines it's now the world we live in.

i dont mind them, as i see them as the affordable alternative due to them
being /125.
So not nearly as tough as real Blacks, but still a respectable low-ish PR

Here's the black/copper rookie card from 2007 of Miguel Montero. He was always a childhood favorite of mine and is the first player i can remember taking an active interest in and rooting for. He was always kind and made time to sign many autographs for me, so I'll always have love for Miggy!

The old school D-Backs uni really makes this card for me with the border being copper this year. Just a super appealing card to my eyes!
