August so far is best month this year and first time since July of 2023 to be over 3k for a month.

Sure seems like sales are brisk. Raw and graded both moving nicely. My last graded Pokémon order sold out the fastest ever. About 2/3 of my sports card slabs sold within two weeks. It helps a lot were Aaron Judge. A bit of a lull now without new inventory for a while aside from random singles I find at card shows.

Dante Nori has been buying his own cards and having them mailed directly to the stadium. At least he's a 1st Rd pick who has a decent chance to make the show.

That IS a cool thing! I've sold to family members several times, but just like week sold a player his own card for the first time. I first noticed the name was the same, and then that the shipping address was the Rays stadium.

August is still going strong over 4k with 8 days left. August is now the highest month since March of 2023 and second highest since July 2022. It is like EBAY turned the switch back on. |

Sales are picking up for me this month. They were way down all summer, it was a rough summer, but for some reason people are spending more money this month.

It's time for a little experiment.
Round 1: I have doubled the price on all of my cards and am offering Buy 1 Get 1 Free.

Has anyone besides onemillioncubs been able to sell on eBay Live? They seem to be relatively difficult for approvals. I really don't want to sell on Whatnot just to get approved on eBay Live. I sold live on Facebook, but thats forever ago at this point. Its not like I am a new eBay account either, been actively selling for 24 years. So just kind of frustrating.

Let's call this experiment a massive failure. In the first 24 hours I sold one card, a $3 card that used to be listed at $1.50. I added best offer for the second 24 hours and made zero sales with zero offers. I am back to normal now.

eBay market really going to take a hit now on cards shipped internationally with the tariff increase. Hockey market might have to have people smuggle suitcases of cards across the boarder to avoid that tariff.

They have spent a ton of money to improve it, with still many improvements yet to come. It's still clunky from both a buyer and seller standpoint. For that reason, they are being very selective with who gets on. Right now they are recruiting experienced live sellers with a social media following to "kick it off." Ebay continues to onboard more sellers, and once they get the kinks worked out it will be expanded to other sellers. It's a very smart decision to handle it the way they are. It would be an absolute disaster if they just let anybody sell on the platform while the finished product isn't ready.

August was another solid month for me, selling 20.4% of my daily average listed inventory. It ended with a wimper though, with my worst week since December, 2022. September is off to a very slow start as well.

September has started off terrible for me. I think it mostly has to do with no new inventory listed. I have been averaging between 800 and 1500 a month for two years now. I will be lucky to get to $500 the way it is going. Glad I have some cards on the way.

Since 2011 my Totals. After August 2022 I was going down hill and this year looked to be another 2024, but with a few good purchases and buying low numbered sports stuff in bulk the last 6 months I have seen a nice turn around. I am slowly pressing to 4k in listings and still looking to move to Fujitsu Scanner and new laptop by December to increase my inventory.
2011 $51,442 2012 $38,287 2013 $38,757 2014 $22,654 2015 $25,755 2016 $21,230 2017 $44,654 2018 $35,235 2019 $23,836 2020 $58,003 2021 $58,040 2022 $43,867 2023 $34,510 2024 $16,807 2025 $16,731 |

I would say either list as BIN or start your auctions at 99 cents which is most of the time a losing proposition so go with a fair BIN price. |

It depends on what you're posting. What do you have up for auction?

Well like I said nothing huge but I never have nothing huge. A few things that has went 7 days with 0 views in the last month. Aaron Judge Base Lot, Ohtani Base Lot, A lot of Space Jams Funko Pops, a 1972 Topps Nolan Ryan. Some went on to sell after a relisting but I feel like those type of things should get views even if they don't sell but maybe Im wrong.
