Great question. I am currently shopping around for an Ohtani card and possibly a RC auto. I think it's tough to pull the trigger on the Bowman Chrome Autos since they went up so much already. Perhaps a Topps Finest PSA 10 would be something I might enjoy.

I would be shocked if you could get those three in a PSA 9 for 30k.

I wouldn't consider purchasing a raw rookie auto. Zero reason for one of those to not be in a slab in 2025.

2018 Topps Heritage probably fits what you're asking. The standard blue ink auto along with a no hat auto is around $30k in a PSA 9.

I agree, I don't think these prices are attainable anymore.

Raw no - but what about a PSA 8 Heritage Real One Red Ink No Hat? Not sure on the value of that but I found a guy who has one...could be my 1st RC auto.

That Ohtani 2018 Bowman Gold Auto PSA 10 pictured a page or two back is a great deal at $275K.

That is a top 50 Ohtani card.

How much does a top 50 Mahomes or Brady card sell for? I am guessing more.

Yes, exactly. PSA 8s are just fine. That just means you’re not paying a premium for the lottery-level odds of a PSA 10.

Heritage red inks are so limited that you really can’t be picky. Definitely grab it if you have the means and opportunity.

Calling the the BCRASO Gold a top 50 cards means you value it over BRASO and CRASO Orange /25, Red /5 and the supers. Then you have the TC RASO True Reds and supers from Chrome sets, etc. It's maybe a top 100 card.

And cheap is relative. You will find less and less people playing in the pool once you cross six figures and finding buyers with cash is even harder. That isn't credit card transaction level anymore.

There are only four PSA 10 Heritage Low Red Inks and two PSA 10 reds in Heritage High.

PSA 8 is not a shameful grade.
