Default 2025 Topps stadium team shop GWP

Has anyone seen these Gift With Purchase Topps cards at their local stadium team store? I'm trying to build the set, if that's possible. Some stadium shops didn't know what I was talking about when I asked though. Besides these three, I also know of D. Swanson for the Cubs, R. Acuna Jr for the Braves, and B. Witt Jr for the Royals.

No other help other then to say little Timmy may have gotten some and in to the round file they went.

Thanks for illuminating what GPW stands for.

One more try... If you have any information about other teams doing this Topps Gift With Purchase card at their stadium store, please post! In Cleveland you get the Jose Ramirez card when spending $10 on cards at the official team store, and it's probably the same at all the other stadiums that are doing this.

It may be in connection to the free Packs that were handed out at stadiums

No, the free packs were those 5-card packs of regular base cards they give to kids. To get one of these GWP cards you went to the team shop in the stadium, spent $10 or so, and got the one free card from the player Topps chose for that team. Apparently some teams participated and some didn't. I'm trying to accumulate a checklist of the ones who did. I believe the cards are numbered GWP-1 through GWP-30 and are alphabetically by the city of the team.

So far I have:

GWP-4 R. Acuna, Atlanta
GWP-7 D. Swanson, Chicago Cubs
GWP-10 J. Ramirez, Cleveland
GWP-11 E. Tovar, Colorado
GWP-14 B. Witt Jr, Kansas City
GWP-17 J. Chourio, Milwaukee

If anyone is going to a game not on that list soon, please see if they have the promotion going on at the team shop for someone on that team if you get a chance.

Thanks, Dale

Of note also, the stadium shops to my knowledge, only got ONE box of about 500 GPW cards for these giveaways.

Also I was on the lookout for the Topps Trading card packs or cards for Topps Trading card Day but the slotted promotion disappeared from the stadium sales promo calendar and on the supposed day of there were no cards given away at the stadium. Dont know if it happens the rest of the season either.

Agreed, International Trading Card Day quietly disappeared this year after being a big deal the past few years, and the few teams who actually had the SGA day on their schedule quietly pulled it off the promotion schedule. Can you tell me which team you heard only got one box of GPW cards? Thanks.

There was an SGA promo. Not topps truck or the ones they hand out at guest relations

I Looked for and asked about these at the Padres game yesterday - no one waas aware of them. Seems like Merrill and Holliday would be anturalsa with the Chourio.

Exclusive incentives are earned by making Topps purchases of $10 or more. The Elly De La Cruz card is available on August 3 and the Shohei Ohtani (Dodgers) card arrives on August 10.

is this not the same idea?

IT is similar but not the same. The ones you have linked were distributed at local baseball card stores. The ones this thread is about is packs that were distributed at the stadium in the team store. The team store ones have a significantly higher value as they were much more limited and harder to get.

Right, except they're not packs this year, just one card for each team. Last year (and all the years prior) was associated with National Trading Card Day, which they didn't have this year.

Thank you for checking and posting here! I also got that same answer when calling the team stores in Cincinnati, Detroit and Pittsburgh. I'm hoping they still have them between now and the end of the season.

Good idea, if I could find somebody with knowledge about it. My guess is they would say they printed 30 different cards but it's up to each team to distribute them.

The NTCD packs were handed out at the gates at stadiums, those are not the same as the Players Inc packs that were given out in stadium team stores.

Are you saying those were handed out this year? I'm aware of how they've been handled before this year; I have close to a complete set of SGA cards for 2017 through 2024.

I can only speak for the stadium I frequent, the Cardinals have not had a pack give away at the gate this year. I will be checking with the team shop this week to see if they have that promotion going.

They do have a gate give away baseballcard shirt coming up....

Thank you StlBen and Carlton for checking. That's exactly what I was hoping for when I started this thread, for people to check their local parks.

Citizens Bank Park also has Bryce Harper cards distributed in this set.
