My Topps store credit was issued earlier today...has anyone been able to successfully use their store credit? Every time I go to the checkout page there is no option to apply the credit when making a purchase.

I looked in my account today and the Rooney’s aren’t showing up. Perhaps any cards that are “lost” are now showing up in the shipping page.

I picked up a Tony Banks 2001 card a few years ago for nostalgia reasons...anyone remember the stupid prices that got to being the "short print" of the 2001 football set. Good times lol

If they are lost, they should issue a refund of what you paid for the card.

Yep, and then the RRO offerings came later on and the AJ Hawk was only available for like 10 minutes and undersold the Banks. That was a fun one, a couple of people lost their minds.

I have about 290 cards left in my account. About 60 are decent, my only fear is that the ones I dont choose or delivery will be destroyed, then scarce as most everyone else will opt for store credit, then the price will shoot up in about a year due to scarcity

The days of print run and scarcity are long over. Topps doesn’t even know how many of them are out there. I’m serious when I say no one in charge of etopps right now even knew whet this was in 2000. Most of them were in diapers.

When you bought the cards from topps, they were supposed to be sealed and have an authenticity sticker on the back. I would return them all.

I would suggest to everyone who paid (heavily) to get these cards shipped, that they call customer service and ask where to return these cards. Etopps cards were sold as being encased and authenticated. These are NOT the cards we bought.

Mine came today the same way. A few of the cards have badly dinged corners. Fanatics is such an ass company.

Have about 900 cards sitting there yet. Would want many of them but not for $1k in shipping. I did take a chunk of the better ones earlier this year. Of everything left only a 2004 JR Smith is forcing me to take store credit - guess that's good for anyone collecting that. Not sure I want store credit and don't want 900+ cards thrown in a plastic bag inside a box. Such a shame. Imagine how many cards will never see the light of day again. They should have sold Etopps to someone that would have managed it better.

I've got 45% of the entire print run of one card sitting there (680 cards of 1500 PR). Store credit is something. What will happen to all the cards if I don't take them - will they get onto the market? What condition would they be in if I got them delivered? Leaning towards store credit. Will decide tomorrow.

There are people on X posting how their cards came shipped in a plastic ziplock.

They truly don't give a rip about your cards. No toploaders...nothing...literally thrown in a plastic baggy.

It's kind of funny but eTopps was Project 2020 20 years earlier. The first adopters who went big on the first issues made out like bandits because the print runs ended up being small. Within just a couple releases they all reliably sold out.

With the program being officially ended and the cards either being tossed, or, given how people are saying they are receiving them, it would be even funnier if it leads to in-hand, encased copies spiking. A lot of people who came to the hobby in the last five years probably don't even know what eTopps is, and the idea that there is some stash of limited-print-run or numbered cards of some big names and RCs might turn the hot potato hype machine back on.
