Stumbled across this last night. Assumings its a legit card that somehow go leaked before it should have? Topps Eternity? I cannot imagine what a box of this will cost. Or was the image released strategically to create buzz?

I hope, since its showing 2 sports, that baseball will also be included. How about a triple autographs of Lebron, Brady, and Ohtani? Oh my! Probably wishful thinking, but I like the looks of this one.

The possibilities are endless, and exciting. The next year is going to be wild. I like (assuming this card is real) that they are coming up with something new. We all know the iconic sets will remain I'm glad it doesn't look like they are mailing it in. Looks like there was effort here to make something really nice. Time to save some stacks of cash.

From the perspective of the typical hobbyist, what's so exciting about Topps producing a card that they'll never acquire? Are they supposed to get excited at the prospect of losing money chasing after a monster card?

Topps is putting in extra effort to produce product hits that'll drive sales from gamblers willing to buy lottery tickets -- nothing more than that.

You are welcome to purchase flagship Topps and build base sets. There is nothing wrong with that. No one is forcing you to buy higher end products. But for those of us who enjoy them, its fun seeing the new things that are coming. No one is forcing you to buy an overpriced Lamborghini's either. Do you post on their message boards talking about how overpriced they are and that normal people cannot afford them?

There are millions of cards in a given product -- why would 1 card, with nearly impossible odds of hitting, excite you? The card is cool -- no doubt -- but so are many things out of reach for ordinary folks. We can all day dream, I guess.

Using the Lamborghini analogy further, you're buying a randomized product with only a chance at obtaining the Lamborghini -- not a direct purchase.

I'm not arguing with you. You are a miserable person and you have no purpose in this thread other than to ruin the conversation of others. Just like all of your posts. I've already stated above why I'm excited. It isn't just about the Lebron/Brady. Its all the potential possibilities that could show themselves with fully licensed cross-over products. Most fans of Atlanta sports, like myself, could afford a Tom Glavine and Matt Ryan dual autograph.
