The question is, did the guy who won a case ALSO win a box too? Because what they are implying is that they balance out wins... so if you lose, your odds go up for the next release etc. If the winner won both entries, something is afoot.

I'm gonna get on this discord now.

That is correct. However, being in their discord for over a year, it's gives a good indication of how much product is actually released.

I actually want a few pretty badly and wouldn't mind paying 350-400 each... but I don't trust any of the sellers to come through if the boxes shoot up in price.

Haha, with this many EQL losers, you should do fine.

Your odds of future success via EQL dropped from 0.011% to 0.00011% though. That's a statistically significant change.

Correct, the "better odds" after losing is a complete fabrication. If you search some of the winners names in the discord, there are some that win every EQL.

I hear you, when looking up these flippers on ebay, so many of have sketchy feedback or very little feedback. Not all but a lot of them. Plus with how Topps is, just cause it says something was won doesn't mean they can't cancel an order. By that time, your money is then held up with that person you bought from and they reach out come release time and say they no longer have the product and now none is available at a good price cause prices shot up even more.

Also like you noted, since they are selling at a pre-sell initial upcharge price, if prices skyrocket I wouldn't doubt someone just cancels your original order and reprices them.

The amount of people that have these listed at a price that will net them $50 per box profit after fees.... is both annoying and satisfying at the same time. Annoying that it's mostly flipper sneakerbots going for them, and satisfying that you can buy them for such a small markup.

More power to them, you enter into these giveaways and are lucky enough to win you should get $50 for your efforts. They are quite literally racing to the bottom. If you were lucky enough to hit, I'm interested btw.

Congrats on your 1st win though! I'm still waiting for mine (I don't count 2023-24 Topps Mercury BKB because essentially everyone won that one).

Going forward, I expect the vast majority of EQL wins to be "good".
