My order that was received May 12th has finally moved to assembly. I'm guess at minimum another 2 weeks to get to QA and another 2-3 weeks for grades ?

I feel as if they delay the date it's actually 'checked in' because that's when the clock starts..

Not the update I was expecting. So now I have an order 1 day in R&ID and another order 43 days in R&ID.
Watched a video where someone was giving PSA props for getting back to two months and I’m like, “Is that right?”

Does anyone have experience with orders being delivered (tracking shows delivered and signed for), but the PSA submission(s) not updating to "Received"? I had an order delivered early on 7/31, it is now 8/5 and still shows "not received" on my dashboard. I am starting to get paranoid, as I am looking at all the people listing their data and basically every one is received the same day as delivered.

I sent a generic contact request about it. I have graded with PSA a bunch but don't ever remember it taking this long to update to Received after a submission was delivered.

Thanks

**Edit, contacted PSA, they claimed my barcode was unreadable or obstructed and it would take a while to make its way through. But then tonight it magically updated to received and entered Research & ID. Guess all it takes is asking sometimes.

PSA did send me an email with photos. The box was crushed on one end like USPS used it as a tractor-trailer wheel chock. The box was still sealed so the contents should still be inside; condition unknown. Hopefully the cards are still sound. It would take a lot of force to wreck a stack of 50 cards in CS1 holders. That's like a brick.

I sent them a different 50 card order in the meantime. I try and get them an order every few weeks.

If I send my cards to a mass submitter like Jewcer do I have a higher likelihood of 10s?

The only rationale for such being true would be the social dynamic where the service provider communicates pre-grading advice or services to the customer.

I see this from a a local card shop. They look at the customer's card and tell them their opinion about how the card would grade. That can steer customer inputs to send cards that the service provider thinks can get a 10 and so the result can be more 10's.

But it's not just because it's a mass submitter. It's because of more objective feedback in pre-grading.

I asked this question once, and I was told if I send in only gem mints cards I will get more gem mint 10s.

I haven't really paid attention to this order, I checked it today and it was already in Assembly. Less then a month since they received it. Seems odd for TCG Bulk. I'm probably going to sit in QA for two months.

Is PSA slowing down yet again? Have a bulk order that has been sitting in R&ID since June 23, and I've seen several others on this thread that have been in R&ID since even before that. Are they hitting their estimated completion dates for bulk orders?

Had an estimated date of 8/7. Still no pop. It's been in QA since 7/7. I have 3 other orders that went from grading to assembly and then into QA as well while this one has sat here the whole time. ugh

My order, which was received on June 3rd, still stuck in Research and ID. A second order, which was send a month later, is also in Research and ID. Both bulk orders. First one was for the June special. The second a regular bulk order.

30+ days in QA is nonsense. Mine has been there for a little over a week and now I guess I’ll stop checking daily and maybe check weekly instead.

Yeah, PSA is behind in every tier. My Value Max (15 business days) has been stuck in the Grading stage for 11 business days now.

I've previously used PC Sportscards to submit to PSA but I received a coupon via email and i'm submitting on my own for the first time in quite a while. Can i ship to PSA using UPS? My online submission form says USPS or FedEx but the PSA website says USPS, Fedlex, UPS, DHL, etc. So which is it? TIA.

Ridiculous. They are raking in cash hand over fist and can't figure out how to keep up with demand. They've had years to figure this out since the pandemic. Absolutely ridiculous.

They don't have to figure it out becuase they obviously don't care. They can continue collecting the money and acting this way becuase grading with them and people paying for their slabs has become engrained with the collectors and without a shift to other slabs or value coming to those faster and some would say better grading companies nothing will change.

Yep. It's strictly about cash flow at this point and as long as the money is flowing, they don't have to prioritize quality. They can make claims all they want that they are working on managing the assembly line more, but they've been saying that for years and we're still dealing with quality-related issues and estimates not being met. I hope Nat reads these posts, as I know he was a member here at one point. PSA is burning bridges with a lot of people in the registry. Some of my closest friends in the PSA-collecting world have cancelled their memberships. I'm likely doing the same unless something changes for the better. Every time I see a video of a person re-subbing cards and receiving completely different grades, it grinds my gears and confirms my fears that the company simply does not care. I've spent five-figures on grading costs over the last eight years, several with my own account and several through a bulk subber before I was a member. I can't see myself continuing to do that in years to come if things don't change.

Agree with you 100% Adding to your comments, the amount of cards that I have personally had come back damaged out of my personal collection and reading the other people's messages online about it just too much. It's obvious they are using technology to move a lot of this stuff down the line with as many subs that they get, but when you start damaging cards that's taking it to another level.

I have definitely had instances in the last year where cards were definitely damaged once they were in PSA's hands. I've had cards come back so badly dinged that considering how scrutinizing I am, there's literally zero chance I would have sent a card with a huge ding in the corner like some of the cards I've received back from them. It's only happened a few times, but these are PC cards and it's awful when that happens. The explanation that makes the most sense is that somewhere along the assembly line, someone got careless and made a mistake.
