Default Trying to recall a Dealer who specialized in oddball basketball cards

Decades ago, I used to buy oddball stuff through the mail. I thought the last name was Grad? He always had foreign language stuff, oddballs, etc

I used to buy a lot of oddball stuff off him on eBay a long time ago. Had had a ton of the stuff you mentioned

Before him I believe, in mail order days but I know him and I don’t think it was him

Figured it out, was Steve Grad, same guy you know from Pawn Stars…confirmed via Twitter. Some of you may recall when he wrote for SCD years ago

Im pretty sure you are referring to Steve Taft not Steve Grad. He still has an active website https://marketplace.beckett.com/stevetaft_604

You’re right! Guess Grad sold cards too but Taft is the name I had in mind.

Taft was listed as having a booth at 2021 National but he wasn’t there as I wanted to see him in person.

He was near the front entrance. Large Star and basketball inventory as usual.

Star are about as mainstream as it gets these days. Progress? What do you think of that Entemann's MJ auto that was singled out as a unique piece?

I know this is not an AMA, but do you have knowledge in categorizing and assigning value to unique 90s errors?
