Link doesn’t even work for me and I’m logged in and everything. Guess it’s a sign.

2019/2020/2021 were guaranteed autos too. 2022 and 2023 were not for some reason. My biggest win is still getting a case (40 boxes) of 2019 for $50 per box. |

Haha yeah, I remember buying (and selling) a couple of 2019 TC Sapphire BB boxes in the $600-$1000 range. Crazy times |

Feels like just yesterday a bunch of us in here were saying it was a buy at anything under $100 and worried that it might come out at $150. Then when it came out at $50 everyone was putting in multiple orders. What a ride it's been.

These are already down to 699+ shipping on ebay and sitting.
Are we sure about these, team? |

this is what happens where there is no competition. nobody is challenging topps on pricing. i look to the ongoing antitrust lawsuits as the last possible weapon against the monopolization of licensed sports products under fanatics.

Can’t use current eBay sales to estimate value in 6 months… the cheapest boxes dry up around release date.
Changing to the chrome checklist is interesting. Hope they finally have James Wood holding a bat in this set. |

Why did you guys signup for MC if you are going to pass on the best releases, which will pay for the club fee?

2024 update is selling for a decent amount, but that's an outlier and a very good (and deep) rookie class (on paper anyways). |

I'll answer for him and say yes. Your $550 number is safe. Not one member will lose a penny on this release unless they decide to gamble and open it up. Then all bets are off. Y'all seriously have to trust the trend until it shows to no longer be a friend. Pretty much every person who has questioned the strength of the market over the last year or so has been proven wrong. Topps Chrome Sapphire is absolutely not going to be the first product to tank and cost anyone any money. Ain't happening, and I bet the house on this prediction.
Topps Dynasty single box breaks have been happening around $2,700 and you have a highest likelihood of pulling a card around $300. Logic does not always apply to stuff like this. So you look at trends and actual data to draw your conclusion. Not your logical brain telling you its bad value. That is irrelevant. |

Anyone else having issues with their order being cancelled for “unforeseen circumstances”? I’ve placed it several times now, using various payment methods, starting at shortly after the drop. The order goes through with no issues, and I receive a confirmation. Then, I get the above cancellation message several minutes later.

Here is how silly it is to wonder if there will be any demand for this product. $600 a box is a team break at $20 a spot. Not counting stuff like fees and such. Just raw numbers. Do you think a break with $25 random spots would take long to fill? I don't think it would. I would think it fills almost instantly with any of the breakers that have a following. |

2024 had Skenes, Yamamoto, and Elly is really good. Chourio didn't make any kind of noticeable leap compared to last season and his batted ball data doesn't indicate that he's underperforming. Acuna he ain't. Merrill hasn't been good and took a huge step back this season. Evan Carter hasn't done anything in two years. Shota is nice but isn't going to have long-term hobby love due to his age and skillset. Rafaela is a nice little player but he's never going to be a hobby darling. Caminero has pop with a sub 300 OBP. Holliday looks like a better real life player than hobby player and is stuck at 2B now. Dominguez is looking like a league average hitter Langford looks like the exact same player he was last season and folks were banking on him leveling up. So Skenes is an elite P, Yamamoto is a really good P, and Elly is really good. And then there's about 8 guys that look more decent than actually good, which doesn't move the hobby needle once the cement's dried. There's also 10 or 12 more autos on that 2024 checklist. Kurtz and Wood already have shown significantly more impressive power bats than anyone in 2024. There's enough guys like C. Smith, Rice, Wilson, Schwellenbach, Campbell to fill up that third tier of folks occupied by Evan Carter from the past year. Maybe Crews bounces back... and I still have a shot at the Ohtani auto. |
