Adam Coles issues seem to stem from his concussion history..

Clothesline from Kyle Fletcher earlier in the week apparently re-triggered symptoms

Yep, and I don't like that stuff from them either. Not my cup of tea and Moxley doesn't need to do that kind of stuff.

I don't need to watch the match to know I don't like that and I don't know why any Wrestling fan would.

Thanks for your passive aggressiveness!

Main event felt like AEW’s version of finishing the story, down to all the guys helping that have had issues with the other group. I probably would have switched up the order though, Darby video first and he drops, THEN Danielson, then Swerve. I’m happy with the reset but first what was the payoff for the briefcase this whole time? Marina didn’t even get to unlock it during the match, and while it was cool when he pulled it out the only payoff is it still had Daneilsons plates cause it went in the night Moxley beat him? Pretty lame second with Darby face and seemingly feuding with Mox, guys like Swerve and Ospreay being face and MJF winning the shot it feels like we aren’t getting much new stuff just repeats of past angles

AEW does not put out anything to mention Hogan passing. The man helped build the modern wrestling business. AEW pretending he does not exist after his passing shows you how no class this company is.

I know you are a AEW Mark but like every other wrestling promotion has at least sent out some kind of message about him. AEW could have easily put out a tweet just showing Hogan with death announcment but to do nothing? But I don't expect much from Tony Fanboi Khan.

I will give AEW credit that they mentioned him as it was the correct choice to do so. Was fitting Schiavone was the one to say it since he was the one at AEW to have a link to Hogan.

Now you can quit your crying and bitching. I've never seen anyone cry so much about something

So, Page kicked out after THREE piledrivers (one to the steps, one to the apron and one in the ring), as well as a belt shot to the head.

What universe are we living in?

I will say, I did enjoy the Dustin Rhodes and Kyle Fletcher on Collision last night. For how old Dustin is, he still takes a beating in the ring with the best of him. That match last night was entertaining and cringe at the same time. The iron claw with the glove that had tacks on the inside, never seen that before. Then to see the spots of blood/punctures on Fletchers scalp from the glove, kind of nuts. I am usually not one that is huge into hardcore matches, but Rhodes and Fletcher put on a good match last night.

Have you not seen how many belts Mercedes currently owns?

Please let me know the last time a pile driver won match in a major company? Not mention they were spaced out over the match. Meanwhile Cody kicked out after I believe 6 AAs last night (3 in a row one being of the top rope). Both matches were still great. Welcome to watching wrestling.

You're really comparing a flat back bump to the canvas to a piledriver?

Do you also get mad when people kick out of a DDTs? Again when was the last time you saw a piledriver win a match? Just because WWE banned it forever doesn't mean it is some mythical move everywhere else.

Toni Storm's finisher, Storm Zero, is considered a piledriver.

I guess that's fair, granted she's changed her finisher a lot and people have definitely kicked out of it. My point being moves like the AA and Cross Rhodes are actual finishing moves that win matches normally for those competitors. Moxley has never won a match w a piledriver. Sure he's done it into the choke ala Suzuki but not quite the same.

I notice no one has talked about Forbidden Door from yesterday.

I think the quality of this PPV (and AEW in general) can be summed up in four words -

Fork in the ear.

I didn't get in until well after the show was over yesterday so I only watched the final 3 matches so far. Really enjoyed the Men's World title match, MJF so damn good at pro wrestling. And the main event was fun insanity. The ear spot was gross but the cut happened before and Mox seemed to be just pushing it w the dull part of the fork not actually it doing additional damage. Luckily I possess the ability to look away and then it's over 30 seconds later and can go on enjoying the match.

The beat down after honestly annoyed me more. I get wanting to always write people off getting carried out for heat but why not just have this great moment and Will goes off into the sunset for the next year. I don't think anyone hates the Death Riders any more or less now than they did before it.

I watched it live and enjoyed it. Thought it was paced really well. Happy to see Hayter return, Brodido win the tag titles and Nigel/ZSJ was really good. I'm glad Nigel is getting to do some matches every once in a while. Also having Danielson on commentary was great. He just loves wrestling and his insight was nice to hear and having him joke was good.

I didn't come in here and talk about it because I know the normal members here would come in and try to #@#@#@#@ on me enjoying it and calling me an AEW mark or schill. It's no longer fun to chat in these threads.

same, rather just watch it and enjoy the wrestling shows I prefer over WWE and not get any unnecessary pushback for my preferences

I know. It’s the same miserable 2-3 people in both this thread, and the WWE thread. If every comment is about how much they hate wrestling, why do they bother watching. There’s one person in particular.
