Systems that came out pre Dreamcast I never played online so I would play them a ton but also go out and touch grass often. Once I hit online gaming I was hooked...specifically XBOX 360 with party chat and achievement hunting/gamerscore. I would take my Xbox to work/hotels, join gamerscore leagues where you competed in teams to see who could get the higher scores each week, and try to top the leaderboards on various games. I hit #1 in the world overall on Gears of War 3 King of the Hill, took a picture, and never played it again. After that my son was born and I became a manager at work...goodbye free time.

Atari 2600, mostly in 1987.
37 total hours, give or take.

Super Nintendo, early 90s, a close 2nd.
Estimating at least 25 hours played.

Hand-held electronic games from the early 80's,
probably about thirty 9V batteries' worth.

I was 14 when Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare and Halo 3 released

15 for Call of Duty World at War

16 for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

Those midnight releases and summer/holiday breaks were an incredible time

Gamer since Atari days. I have damn near every console since then but probably the most hours on my ps4. 5000 hours in FF14 alone

Has to be Xbox 360 for me, simply because I played the Call of Duty games (and there were many) online for hours and hours with buddies. Although, I’d guess the single game I played the most was GoldenEye for N64, on which I played way too many hours of local multiplayer at college and back home.

PS2 for me. PS3 probably came in a close 2nd due to RDR and rock band. Not much of a gamer. Bought a PS4 just for FFVII remake and a PS5 for rebirth. Only games I bought for either system
